| From: Pamela Carlson:
Yeah BABY!!!!
After several years of missing you on the radio, I
was esctatic when I went up the dial (which I never
do) and came across a familiar voice on 106.1. I
thought I must be hearing things at first. But then
I realized that it was my old friend Mr. Moby.
I now enjoy my 1 and a half commute every morning.
I am so glad to hear you on the radio. YEAH BABY!!!
Moby's Response:
Hey Pamela,
Well, how cool is that.
I'm thrilled that you found us today.
Would you do me the favor of telling your friends &
family to also go "up the dial"
and discover a friend that was to country for the
"Biggest City in the South" down the dial.
I'm at home again, and everybody is invited to the
party.
We're having a really good time. Don't keep us a
secret. OK?
Yeah baby,

| From: Tim Vincent Dear Moby my
Father listened to your show a few years ago when
you were on here in Louisville, he was an avid
listener and i believe it made his day.
since that time my father has passed away from a
cancer that started in his esophagus.but now that i
have found that you are back on the air here in
Louisville on the eagle im carrying on what he
started.
And truly it makes my day start
off right. i have a small request if you would

God Bless and hurry home . thanks so much for just
being you. Welcome Back to Louisville and a big
Yeahhhhhhhhh babbbbbbbbbby !! for you.
Moby's Response
Hello Terry,
Welcome back to the radio family. We've all missed
you, and I'm sorry to hear about your dad.
What d'ya want to bet your daddy and papa Moby have
coffe together and listen in Heaven every morning?
No, I guess that's sort of silly, with all the great
country stars already up there, they got a pretty
good house band, and don't need the radio anymore.
That sort of paints a pretty picture, doesn't it?
Good luck to you and Laura.
It's bedtime for your old pal.
Yeah baby,

From: Chris Eure
Dear Moby,
This morning you read a police officer's response to
the golden box story you did yesterday. Tears came
to my eyes as I listened and afterward I called you
and told you that you had done it again.
Moby, I have been a Paramedic for almost 20
years. In that time I am proud to say I have shed
many tears in the line of duty.
I cried with a new mom when I
delivered her first child and it was my first time
too. I cried for the infant thrown from a minivan
that wasnt in a carseat and I couldnt save. I also
cried for her mom who will have to live with that
decision to hold her in her arms for the rest of her
life.
My eyes filled with tears of anger
for the father who bounced his son of the block
walls of an apartment. The tears that hurt the most
were those I shed when my baby sister begged me to
bring back her husband whose body had been found in
the woods dead of an apparent heart attack while
providing food for his family.
Mr. Moby, as public servants we are called upon to
deal with things the general public can't even to
begin to imagine. Crying is one of the few releases
we have.
I gave up my full time job as a Paramedic 2 years
ago because, after becoming a husband and a father I
found it even harder to deal with the calling of my
profession. Now I am home every night, and on
weekends. That doesnt mean I have completely turned
my back on the job. Now I sit on the sidelines and
cheer on those who keep up the good fight, and pray
that God will give them strength, and a never ending
supply of tears.
God Bless you Moby for the work you do
and God Bless those who keep us safe.
Moby's Response
God love you, Chris.
Like you, most of us cheer from the sidelines for
these heroes that continue to fight the good fight
for public safety.
Also, like you, there's no way I could handle it.
There's a special place in Heaven for those that
can.
Thank you for listening.
Yeah baby,

From Barbra
Moby, I heard you make the comment this morning that
men have more heart attacks than women because of
the stress they carry within. The fact is that
women have more heart attacks than men. In fact
heart disease is the number one killer of women.
This common misconception is part of the reason so
many women die of heart disease. most medical
research is done on men and the medical issues of
women are not addressed properly. Men do have more
strokes but women have a hirer rate of heart
disease. I just thought you would like to know.
Thank you for always wishing your listeners the best
and thank you for the smiles every morning. YEAH
BABY!
Moby's Response
Well, Barbara, it looks to me like
I owe you an apology, and the audience a little
education.
I did some research, (results below) and although
I'm sure it doesn't surprise you, I found out you
were right on the money.
I'll correct myself tomorrow morning.
Thank you for pointing out my mistake. (Have I ever
been married to you?)

| From: Deb Stickler
I am
tickled pink that we have you back in Louisville. I
listen to you as I make my rounds taking the kids to
school. We're having some problems picking up
station(The Eagle) at house without the tinfoil on
the antenna, holding the radio in my hand and
standing on one leg. So I drive a couple extra
miles and sit in the car drinking coffee from 7-10
AM. You could cause a person to loose a crop not to
mention not getting housework done. I love you
Peaches. Yeaaaaaaaaah Baaaaaaaaaaaaaby!!!!!!
Countrymomma from Louisville Deb Stickler
Moby's Response
Well, Deb, I'm
"tickled pink" to be back on the radio up there.
Please tell
your friends and family that the Moby in the
Morning radio family has reassembled,
and that the
assembly is held every day on Eagle 104.3
I'm sorry that
the signal isn't as strong as we'd all like for
it to be, and i'm grateful that you go through
so many changes to be able to listen.
I have to tell
you before I close thta you made me laugh with
your email. Not that the situation is a funny
one, but the way you told it sure was.

From: Donna
Hello
Moby,
Just want to let you know how much I enjoy
your show every morning. Thank you so very much
for your sincere support and love of our
Military men and women, for Law Enforcement and
for God and our great country!
I
have strong ties to all of the above. I have a
son who is a Deputy Sheriff, a son in the Air
Force and a brother in the Army. I was a
military brat growing up as my father was also
in the Army. I've lived through many conflicts.
My father in Vietnam and Korea and my brother in
Desert Storm, Somalia, Korea and Iraq. Keep on
praying and plugging for all of our Military and
Law Enforcement. They desperately need all of
the prayer and support we can give them every
day. God Bless you Moby for your love and
support and God Bless America!
Yeah
Baby!
Donna
Moby's
Response
Dear Donna,
It's an honor to support those that fight
for saftey, and the protection of me & my
family.
This has been my position since I can
remember.
I do want them all home as quickly as
possible, but I want them home with dignity.
Their heads held high confidant that they
left the
heat and desolation of the middle east with
a fine job well-done.

From: Sgt. William E. Kemp
USMC
Desert Storm 1991
Moby, My husband was recalled in 1991 for Desert Storm.
While he was taking refresher training
he wrote this....
Family of War
When you hear the word family you think
of Mom, Dad, just blood relatives.
The people you grew up with, grew to
know and love. People you can always
depend on in the time of need.
There's another family some fail to realize "The
Family of War" The brothers and sisters
that stand side by side, a common cause,
devotion and dedication, the love for
their country and for freedom is what
brought them together.
But on the battle field they don't fight
for those things. They fight for each
other.
For their brother and sisters, the
family of war. The devotion and
dedication turns toward each other. They
depend on each other for survival.
In many cases the family of war are even
closer then the blood relative.
they are part of you, an extension of
your body. The watchful eye so you may
rest, the one to carry you if you can
not walk, the one who risks his own life
so you may live.
Once again the Family of War has been
called upon. To fight for a cause, if
for nothing else, they fight for each
other. To be a part of this family makes
me proud, proud to be an American and
part of The Family of War.
Sgt. William E. Kemp
USMC
Desert Storm 1991
Maybe if some people could hear how the
Men and Women fighting for us feel
people would come to realize they are
dishonoring them when they go out and
protest. I know FREEDOM of SPEECH. But
who gives them that freedom??
Moby's Response:
Just wonderful!!!!

From: Chuck Stephens
Mr. Moby,
Thank you for your reply to my e-mail.
I know I have family and friends that
are now tuning you in the Warner
Robins/Jeffersonville area. For your
patronage, beliefs in Lord and being a
true American I hope your word and
message spreads like wild fire through
our country. I was raised the old
school way of yes sir, no sir, yes mam
and no mam and the problem with America
today is we are getting away from the
things that have made our country
great.
I grew up saying the Lords Prayer and
The Pledge of Allegiance in school and
my church is teaching my 5 year old
these same great values. To the people
who live here in America and think
America is wrong for what we are doing
over seas, I wish they would stop and
think of how life might be if we were
not doing what we are doing over seas.
To the people who think America is not
the greatest country to live in, MOVE.
Go to Russia, Iraq or any other country,
if you do not like it here leave. Moby
I have recently turned my life over to
the Lord and I look at things in a
better light now than I did before. I
try to find good in all things and all
people but unfortunately there is a lot
of bad in the world including the
country in which we live. It is up to
all Americans who believe in life
liberty and the pursuit of happiness to
stand up and be counted, put discipline
back in the home, put it back in the
school but above all put GOD back in
everything.
God gave everything so we can live and
spread his word and his message. Spread
the word, share and care for one another
and let us get our country back on
track. Thank you for your time, your
giving, sharing and caring and may God
Bless you and yours.
Thank you
Chuck Stephens
Moby's Response:
Chuck,
To quote one of our regular
listeners from the morning show,
"You da man!!"
It pleases me to no end to get an
email like yours. Thank you for it.
God bless you & your fmaily, and
above all, God bless America.

From Tina McKee
Dear Moby,
I am saddened and
sickened to see not only Cindy Sheehan's
behavior, but also for the extreme
reactions that have been displayed by so
many of our fellow Americans. After
hearing your mention of Ms. Sheehan on
the show this morning, I scanned through
some articles that have been written and
was dismayed to see Ms. Sheehan referred
to as a "Rosa Parks", a "Terry Schiavo
reincarnated", and so many other
ridiculous titles that I cannot
mention. This woman is being labeled a
martyr, and the true hero in all of this
was her son. He served proudly, and
might I add, VOLUNTARILY for his country
in the highest means possible...he gave
his young life.
As a mother of a
beautiful, intelligent and strong son
who is about to turn 18, I can assure
you that I do not want his life to end
in the near future. However, I would
proudly send my son to serve his country
KNOWING that his tour could end in
death. This country was built on men
who would sacrifice anything to protect
and promote the American way of life,
which includes following the orders
handed down from the President Of The
United States.
THAT, Moby, is who and
what I raised my son to be....AN
AMERICAN. If my son were to die in
service to his country, I would not feel
it would be my right and privilege
to demand a private meeting with
the leader of this great
country. Furthermore, I would not
tarnish my son's memory by making a
spectacle of myself to the point of
losing my marriage and being unavailable
for my mother's health concerns.
In closing, I can
sympathize with her loss, but in all
honesty, was she unaware that her son
was a soldier and that was by his own
free will? Too many people in this
country see the Armed Forces as a means
to earn college money for their
children, rather than what they truly
are....a highly trained group of
military professionals whose job it is
to protect this country.
Thanks, Moby, for taking
a stand.
Tina McKee
Palmyra, Indiana
Moby's Response:
Tina,
Thank you for writing.
There have been some emails today
that sympathized with Mrs. Sheehan'
position..
I respectfully disagree with them,
but in America we can all have and
profess our opinions.
The confusing thing to me is how
angry they seem to get towards
anyone with an opinion that doesn't
agree with their own.
It seems to me to be a closed minded
position they take, and it makes me
chuckle. That makes them even
madder.
All kinds of nuts in this fruit
basket, huh?
Yeah baby,

From: Van Helden I want to thank
you for your support of all our troops for the
efforts and sacrifices they make for all of us.
While some of us maintained “a low profile” during
our time in uniform due to the noise and actions of
fellow Americans such as Jane Fonda, I am so elated
that this generation of defenders of our freedoms
are being recognized for their willingness to risk
life and limb to insure a continued enjoyment of the
freedoms so many take for granted.
Whereas your support of our troops
in uniform now is foremost, please remember those
that preceded them in the never-ending quest to keep
our flag flying over a free nation. Give a thumbs up
to those driving down the road with the license
plates displaying purple heart, disabled veteran,
reserve or guard service, or retired military.
Someone once hugged me after waiting behind my truck
at a Wal-Mart because of my tag just to say thank
you. It made all my years worth while.
Keep up the good you do for all of us.
Once again, Thank you.
Van Moby's
Response: Dear Van
Allow me to say thank you to you as well.
I wasn't one who disrespected Viet Nam veterans, but
I'd more than aware of the fact that many of you
were disrespected, and even reviled by the very
citizens whose freedoms you'd taken an oath to
protect.
So, I do acknowledge the existence of that
hi-profile attitude a few decades ago, and join with
you as we rise from the ashes of that blemish on our
histroy to say a hearty thank you & a job well done.
God bless America,

Moby -
My brother and I would like to say the Pledge on
your radio station one morning. How can we do this?
Thanks,
Zachary and Chandler
Moby's Response:
Not a problem. I always have the
Pledge on at about 6:20.
He can either call before then, and I'll probably
play it that morning, or he can call when he feels
froggy, and I'll tape it for the next day.
Deal?
Yeah baby,
MOBY
By the way, where are you guys?
Zachary's Response:
Moby -
We live in Suwanee, Georgia. I am 8 years old and my
brother, Chandler is 5. I'll call you Monday
Morning.
Yea Baby!!
Moby's Response:
Well Zachary ,
I really look forward to that call, buddy.
Matter of fact, why don't we do 3 different
versions?
When you make your call, if Uncle Moby has time at
all, I'll ask both of you to do it for us
individually. Then I'll ask you to do it together.
We've never done that before, and I bet you guys
will be great.
You know what? If we do that, and it goes well,
it'll be the first three Pledges of the week. How
does that sound too you?
You boys practice, and I'll talk to you Monday
morning.

| From Loretta Loudermilk
HI Moby,
We live in Blud Ridge. Ga. and listen to WLSB in
Copperhill, Tn. which is our neighboring town.
I have been a faithful listener since the beginning
of the Radio Station with Mr. Bob Schwabb.( I hope
you got to meet him when you came recently to visit
our station & do PICKIN IN THE PARK or when you came
to Blue Ridge & did the show from Parris Pharmacy. )
Mr. Schwabb is a VERY SPECIAL person and we feel the
loss that he reached retirement much too soon to
suit us.
Thank you for being a part of our mornings, keep it
clean & continue your allowing us to talk about our
love of God when we call in to your station.
YEAH BABY,
Loretta Loudermilk
Moby's Response
Well, Loretta, I can't tell you it
pleases me to see an email like yours first thing on
a Friday morning.
Please, pass on to your friends what you've told me,
because you obviously understand what our little
show is all about. Fear of God, love of country,
respect for authority, dedication to our families &
each other. Without all those things we'd be in deep
and muddy water in our great country, now wouldn't
we?
Yeah baby & God bless you, Loretta.

MY
NAME IS CELESTE AND I HAVE BEEN
LISTENING TO WNGC FOR MANY YEARS NOW
BUT IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THIS IS
ENDING VERY SOON. I AM NOT HAPPY AT
ALL WITH HOW YOU DO THINGS IN THE
AM. THE MAIN THING YOU NEED TO GET
RID OF IS THE STUPID SOAP BOX, IF I
WANTED TO LISTEN TO A GOSPEL STATION
I WOULD TURN IT TO ONE. EVERYONE AT
MY WORK HATES THE STATION NOW THANKS
TO YOU. MAYBE IT WOULDNT BE AS
UNBEARABLE IF YOU WOULD JUST GET RID
OF THE SOAP BOX. SORRY I AM SO MEAN
ABOUT ALL OF THIS BUT YOU WOULD FEEL
THE SAME WAY IF YOU LISTENED TO THE
SAME RADION STATION EVERYDAY LIKE I
HAVE THEN HAVE SOMEONE AS BORING AS
YOU COME IN AND SCREW IT ALL UP. I
AM SURE THE RATINGS WILL DROP
DRASTICALLY. I KNOW I
AM
ONE LESS PERSON LISTENING NOW.
THANKS ALOT.
Moby's Response
Hello Celeste,
Isn't it ironic
that your subject line said
"Welcome". It could easily have
said "Welcome...now leave" You
need to know that I would have
read and responded to your email
even without that deception.
The content of
the Soap Box isn't always
religious in nature, but I am
proud of the fact that we don't
shy away from our faith.
Tomorrow's for
instance is relating to a story
pertaining to our military. It's
a compelling story of the
Americans being the good guys.
Love of God,
support of our fighting forces,
respect for authority, love of
family, a few jokes, and some
good country music. That's the
Moby in the Morning, Biggest
Small Town in America program.
If that's
"boring" & "unbearable" to you,
I don't know what to say. A lot
of folks have always told me
that I grow on you. I hope you
let that happen, and if you
choose not to, then that's the
great thing about
America....Choice.
I do wish you,
your workmates, and family well.
And I close this corespondence
feeling more kindly to you than
you do to me. Agree?
The response I've
gotten has been overwhelmingly
positive, but I discovered long
ago it's a very frustrating
waste of time to try to please
everybody.
God bless you,

Hey Moby!
Welcome home!
My father , Frank
Downing, is a WW2 veteran. He worked for
the
Veterans
Hospital in Nashville and then in Decatur.
Tommy Clack was a patient when he was in
Decatur. Daddy was director of Recreation
which means he played for a living.
Tough job, huh?
Anyway, he was very close to Tommy during a
very difficult time for Tommy. Several
years passed and Daddy and Tommy lost touch.
Recently, Tommy did a radio interview with
Martha Zoeller in Gainesville. Daddy and
Tommy met up again for lunch. What an
inspiration that man is. Thought you might
