OVER THE HILL

Sports cars, Viagra, Monoxidil,

Pack all yo’ stuff, We’re goin’ over the hill.

Harley hog, ponytail, brand new tattoo.

(sung) Better call your ol’ lady, cause she’s goin’, too.

Face lift, tummy tuck, Oil of Olay,

Revlon, Clairol, good-bye to gray.

Control-top panty hose, bright red nails,

Implants, & transplants if all else fails.

You saw this coming, don’t pretend you didn’t know.

You can fight it, deny it, or just go with the flow.

But no matter how you travel, or who foots the bill,

Better strap yourself in, we’re goin’ over the hill.

(getting’ older’s no sin, we’re goin’ over the hill)

You can do it with dignity, and show a little class,

Cause you might overhear, " Wow, look at that (gasp)….well!!"

Half full or half empty, is the glass you see.

You’re as young right now, as you’ll ever be.

Who’s that in the mirror? Closer than he looks.

And he’s no longer hiding in the crannies and nooks.

He’s doin’ 90 miles an hour, and hell, you’re standin’ still.

Better pick up your feet, we’re goin’ over the hill.

(we’re not in retreat, we’re goin’ over the hill)

So lose your excess baggage, try and lighten your load.

This ride is mighty bumpy, and they ain’t fixed the road.

This comedy’s life, no need to be scared.

Yeah, we’re over the hill, but we’ve sure been somewhere.

Through thick & through thin…We’re goin’ over the hill.

With my toothless grin, we’re going over the hill.
