Jim Vann Born in Columbus. Ga . Jim grew up in the hills of North Georgia. he started his radio career at the tender age of 17, sweeping up around WCHK in Canton. His first chance on the air was December 20th, 1969. Like any young broadcaster. Jim assumed that the audience was listening for him, and that the music was incidental.
