Specialist Marcos Coates

This is my son Marcos. He's 25 and has dedicated his life to public service. He joined our local volunteer fire department at 16 then enlisted in the National Guard his junior year of high school. During his time with the ANG he also continued to be a volunteer firefighter while he worked full time as a jailer and reserve deputy. He now works full time for a nursing facility as he attends college full time to pursue his EMT license. His community means as much to him as his country does.
