It's so great to be able to listen to you in the mornings again!! I can get your show on The Bear since we are in Jonesboro. Even my husband has reverted back to listening to radio instead of CDs in the mornings on his commute. Says he loses the station just before he gets to work in downtown Atlanta. Good luck!!

Moby I'm a 16 year veteran of the Spalding County Fire Dept. I want to thank you for your continued support of all emergency services personnel. I'd also like to ask you to keep Captain David Smith in your prayers. He was badly injured in a fire back in August. Capt. Smith and his family needs all our prayers as he continues to recover from his injuries. Thank You; Jeff Chambers PS: Thanks for making morning radio fun to listen too again.

Hi, Mr. Moby. (And hello fellow native Atlantans, if you're reading this. Joyce and I are living in the hinterlands of Pasadena, TX, just outside Houston.) I hope we can hear Moby in the Morning in the Houston area soon in the Houston area now that you're getting syndicated. I run into Houstonians who remember Mr. Moby on "that Rock station" who would love to hear you're brand of down-home broadcasting that we enjoyed when we were still in Atlanta.

May God continue to bless you and Mary Beth. What month was the baby girl born? She sure is pretty. Take care and I will write again soon. Respectfully submitted, Mary Ann Hembree (GCIC) at GBI.

With all jokes aside I want to let you know that no matter what you say in the morning you are an inspiration! I hope you are continued to be blessed in expanding your voice across the country! If you read this e-mail I would like to request for you to play a song for my Dad that lives in Hinesville, Ga. He will celebrate his 74th birthday on August 27. Moby, Thank you for sending me the copy of the small town soapbox. I gave a copy to my 12 year old daughter to read. She said she agreed but didn't think God would want us to fight over it. We talked a little and she got the idea to write a letter. She will be sending it to Congress and the President. She won't be fighting but standing for what she believes. Not old enough to vote but making a stand, she's old enough to get involved and if she is involved now maybe she will stay involved. Thanks, Debbie Rockwood, TN

I remember Moby way back when he was on KLOL in Houston. He had a couple of folks helped him out, one was Hannah Storm, Jon Matthews & Lany Grittith. Hannah Strom is now a big wheel on NBC Television. Lany Grittith is still a traffic guy in Houston. Jon Matthews turned consertative radio talk show host in Houston, he also just got sentenced for exposing himself to an 11 year old girl. Guess one out of three moving up is good. Thanks to Moby for all of the good time, chat and music I enjoyed. Good luck on the new station.

Moby, I sure wish you could put me in contact with someone from Ranger or Eastland County Texas. I'm having a hard time finding out any information on a place to live where I can take my two dogs. You know I can't live without my dogs. They are my family and I won't leave them behind. I plan to return to college but, probably not this fall. I'd tell you more but, I better save that for later. I'm sure some country folk would understand what kind of place I would need where I can keep my family together.

Moby, Northern Arkansas and southern Missouri needs to know what it's like to hear you. I just know Joe Sullivan (remember him from your Nashville days and who he used to manage?) here in Branson would go out of his way to see to it that your on the air here. THESE OZARK HILLBILLIES WOULD TAKE TO YOU LIKE A FLEA ON A HOUNDOG!!! TIM

This is exactly what I envisioned months ago. Thanks be to God for allowing this to happen. When you do the right thing for the right reasons, your blessings will be abundant. God Bless you Mr. Moby, I can't wait until you're part of my mornings once again. Oh, how I've missed you. Take care and may God's blessing continue to be bestowed upon you.

Hi Moby! Yes, I still think of you and our 97 Rock days often. I saw a local Houston headline today and it made me think of you so I did a search and saw your new website. I had heard that you were no longer in Atlanta, and I guess that happened just before I last looked you up on the internet. I even saw an original 97 Rock bumper sticker on an ancient Toyota Saturday morning -- "97 fm Rocks", the predecessor of the "97 Rock" stickers. Commercial radio here really sucks, so I don't know much of what's going on with different radio personalities in Houston anymore. Thank goodness for CDs & satellite radio. We still hear Bob Ford whenever we go to an Astros game (the voice of the Astros at home!) and if I turn on Channel 8, Houston's public TV station. Hope all is going well with you in Roswell, GA. Things are still good here, in Houston, too. I had worked for Enron for 14 years before it collapsed, but am now working for a great company, Kinder Morgan, that was the original Enron spin-off company back in 1996 or 1997. Saw your posted poem about Jonah being in the military. Hope he stays safe. I do still think of you and Bill Moffett (hear him in commercials all the time, too!) every year when August 6 comes around -- the birthday of your sons and me!! Take care of yourself and get it touch if you can. Linda Lannom

Moby, I want to thank you for the support and encourgement you give the armed forces. They are doing a great job for this country. I am proud of all the kids that have decided to serve US (the people of the United States) It has nothing to do with the fact that I am the mother of 3 United States Army soldiers. 2 sons and a daughter. Please keep up the good work and keep showing the kids we Love and Respect thier decisions

Hi Jim! I was one of your biggest fans back in the days of 97 Rock in Houston! Needed to see if I could possibly get the words to "Texas Bitch"? Great to know you're still on-air! You were part of the inspiration for this former high school journalism student to go into radio herself!

Hello Moby: We loved listening to you in Atlanta while we were there - when we moved to Mississippi, we heard you for a little while - then I guess the radio station lost its syndication link with you - anyway, we miss you!!! Especially, we miss your Scotsman song on Friday mornings. Any chance I can get a copy - being part of the Campbell Clan, I would like to share this with some of the Clan!! Also, let me know if they syndicate you back over to Mississippi!! Many thanks & have a blessed day! Doris

Hey Moby just a note to say that your fans in Atlanta Georgia still remember you and love you still. Hope everything in Tennessee is going well. Since you left country I've turned to jazz. My twin girls actually like it. But our hearts will always be country. Waking up in the mornings is difficult since you left. No ones since of humor matches yours. Take care and God Bless you and yours. Melissa Smoot

Yeah Baby! I have thought about you often in the last year since you left 93 here in Atlanta. I remember on Kicks you talked about your past as a Rock DJ then when you switched you said you were happy to be back at Rock. I have been a fan since your first day at Kicks and I think you were ONE HELL OF A GREAT COUNTRY DJ and I am so glad to see you back at it. you have alot of fans here who still miss you and try very hard to listen when they can (thank God for the internet). Moby, you are an Angel to many and you will probably never know the impact you have had on so many lives. I remember once you asked listeners to turn their car headlights on in memory of a slain police officer, and I did but I also noticed that many of the cars on the other side of the highway did the same. I aplolgize for the long message but I am excited to be able to tell you how much you mean to your many fans and you are greatly missed. I am blessed to have a great person like you in my life. Oh, Just one last thought (or memory) I remember when Jonah started the 6th grade and you were nervous because he was growing too fast and you felt like you were loosing your baby, You may have lost the baby but you now have a man to stand beside you and it is great to see the influences you gave grow out of the shell of that little boy.

Yes, I should have looked at your photo album first. On my God! Jonah is in the navy and the poem that Linda Ellis wrote is beautiful and made me feel tearful. And now you all have a beautiful little girl. How wonderful! I met you and your wife first at the Blue Ribbon fair and then at the St. Patrick's Day parade on Peachtree. And I am sorry, but I cannot remember her name and what is your litte girl's name.
