Good Mornin' Peaches !! Hope you are enjoying your big day May GOD Bless and Keep YOU. Hurry back to the music Mr. Moby ! You are so very much loved and missed by your fans~~ It's like hangin' out with a good friend and then suddenly; you don't get to talk to him~ or call and tell him something funny, or sad, or he's not there to talk about the things going on everyday. Thank you so much for being there when i needed someone to talk to when my dad died; and i was so angry at him for leaving me you told me not to be, ~to forgive and let go ~ and especially for being there in 2001 on that Horrible day in history; that no one will ever forget. Your voice was strong and brave; but we knew your heart was broken, just as ours were. We all really miss you friend. Although we have never met, you have been a part of my family, since I moved here in 1990. We enjoy your laughter and your stories~ Your songs are great~ but more~ so because You sing them! Well, I've gotten carried away (sorry about that). Once again , A Very Happy Birthday Mr. Moby !!!! Say hi to the family for us YEAH BABY !! Patti ( jefferson ,ga)
Happy Birthday old man. Isn't 50 great! It was for me about 8 years ago. 60 is fast approaching and doesn't seem near as old as it used to. I remember your 40th birthday. I sent you a sympathy card and you read it on the air. What a thrill. I've sent you jokes like "The Perfect Halloween Costume" that you shared with your listners (changing a few choice words)and have been to many of your appearances around Atlanta. I know you will probably be leaving us when your legal troubles are over and am glad to know I can still reach you through this web site. Warmest regards for the holidays and a great big YEAH BABY!
Happy Belated 50th. 50 is young!! Grace & Mary Beth will keep you young!!
I keep writing 101.5 about the fact that they lost an Atlanta institution when they lost Moby. They never respond. I hope we get him back and have been praying. Thanks, Russ Gann
HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Kelly says to tell you "Have a Happy 50th Birthday! Love Kelly" Hope the day has been an enjoyable one. Just remember you only get to turn 50 ONCE! We will be talking to you soon. Janet
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. MOBY! 50 IS NOT SO BAD, IT'S 70 THAT MAKES YOU START TO RETHINK A FEW THINGS. MAY GOD WATCH OVER YOUR SON AND ALL OUR TROOPS WHO ARE DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY TO KEEP US FREE! HOPE YOU GET BACK ON THE AIR SOON!
Hi Moby, Happy Birthday from us. We really do miss you on your morning drives. Robin just turned 45 Saturday, so he sympathizes with you on getting older. But he says as long as I'm older than him, it doesn't really matter. He got a smack in the back of the head for his birthday gift this year. Hope you got better *g*
Happ Birthday Mr. Moby!!! From your favorite group of Girl Scouts and their mom. 50, huh? I though you were much younger!!! Enjoy, and we still miss you!!
Hey Moby, I remember when you landed at ksrr. Can't think of those years without thinking of 97Rocks but haven't listen to r&r much since you left town. Something made me look you up on the internet to see whats up. Glad I found your website. Don't understand Atlantas problem. I am sure there are plenty others that miss your humor and sincerity here in Houston. Keep up your efforts, we need personalities like yours in our everyday lives. Good Luck with your future and may God Bless you and your family always. Paul
Dear Moby, Happy 50th! Yeah Baby! I listened to you on Kicks for many years and then again once I found you on Z93. Now, I turn into Z93 once in a while just to hear the traffic report. Here's to you, and Happy Birthday. Best regards, Glenn
I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!! God bless you and your family.I look forward to your letters, keep em commin. We miss you in Covington. Wanda Horton
Just to repeat what everyone has said: we want you back on morning drive. It's not the same without you.
Hey Moby, I've listened to you all my life. At least until you went off the air. I miss you so much. I don't like getting up in the morning because I know you won't be the one on the radio to wake me up, making me laugh immediately. My family has decided to boycott 101.5 because they have turned into what we like to call a Yankee southern station. By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MOBY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...... AND MANY MANY MORE. GOD BLESS, BRENDA
Happy Birthday Moby. Miss not hearing you on Radio. Hope it won't be long before you will be back again.

Mr Moby, I wanted you to know that my son Jonathan's birthday is 12/10. He will be 9. He remembers your birthday every year. This year he has deceided to have a birthday party honoring you and him. I thought that was so sweet. I just wanted to let you know. We all miss you and love you! Can not wait to hear you on the radio again. Hope you and your family have a very blessed holiday season!
Happy Birthday Moby! I hope you and your family are doing well. Like you I will be glad to hear your voice again as a DJ. Just wanted to share to you that our family for now has grown. My husband and I are new foster parents and on Halloween we received our first six year old boy. What a sweetie! The day before Thanksgiving we received his four year old sister. She is so precious. Tonight, we went to a Christmas party for foster children and to met other foster parents. It was a sad moment to see so many children there without their natural parents, however what a happy feeling to see so many foster parents there. My natural children are grown and out of the home now starting careers of there own. It is so wonderful to have these two beautiful children here and especially during the hoilday season! What a joy to see their faces light up while decorating the Christmas tree. Well, Moby as you know being a new parent we could ramble on and on, but I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you and wish you the best.
Dear Moby, Sure hope to hear your voice on a good country station real soon. I am so glad that Jonah made it home for Thanksgiving. He really seems like a fine young man. Hope Christmas works out for him also. Grace Marie sure is a pleasure in your life and also Mary Beth and Jonah's also. Hope to get to see her in person soon. Don't have those mixed feelings about turning 50. It is a great time in life. I should know. I will be 61 on February 6th, and I am looking forward to it. Just count your blessings, and be glad that you are here to reach 50. I had a nephew to die in an automobile accident just before his 18th birthday. We buried him the day before his birthday. He would have turned 18 on July 2nd. We really miss him. Christmas will be sad this year. Tell Mary Beth, Grace Marie and Jonah hello for me. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. I know your beautiful wife is a great mother, and you are a great dad. Love Y'all, Mary Little Bear
Happy 50th birthday to you Moby.....and then a very, Merry Christmas. I wish for you, for Christmas, a new radio show in Atl. We sure miss hearing you out here in Loganville. Now we have to listen to Rhubarb. :-( Mornings just aren't the same. Bandy and Baily make me want to puke!! Anyway, Happy holidays and God Bless.-WRB

Moby and family, Thanks for the update. I knew God would place Grace into you and Marybeth's hands just for the reason you are loving ,devoted people(and yes she does look like you both).I am glad Jonah was home for the holiday,I am sure he knows he is riding on the wings of many prayers. Moby hold on to your faith I believe God has great things in store for you.Just find the blessing in the day and leave the rest to him. Now I have a prayer request for you.My sister Mary has been diagnosised this past week with M.S. a shocker to say the least, but I believe in the prayers of the saints so if you and your family and the extended family could pray for her I would be thankful. Have a wonderful Christmas Marie
Moby, don't know if you remember me. I was an INS agent in Atlanta from 1992-1999. You and I spoke one afternoon after your "suits" had yelled at you for agreeing on the air that our borders needed defending. I faxed some comments which you showed them and apparently got them off your back, and you gave me a surprise call at the office that afternoon. I began working alone in the Dalton area about 1993 (knew what Davy Crockett felt like at the Alamo - me against about 30,000 illegal Mexicans). In '99 they put an office up here and made me supervisor of 3 agents. I retired about a month ago - was taking my son to school this morning, and listening to the Chattanooga country station US 101, and thinking about how much I missed your show. It was one of the first I heard when I came to Atlanta. I'm not even particularly a country fan, but became a regular Moby fan. I know that several times when I had to go to Atlanta early before I retired, I'd try to listen, and heard some strange (and not particularly good) voices on KICKS. They weren't you, Jim, or Debra, and I quickly found another station. I hope you get back to doing a show somewhere, and that I am privileged to listen. Doug Sullivan PS: Happy Birthday - I never called on your birthday before, but I always thought about you. My daughter Molly (freshman @ U of West GA) is also a December 9 baby. I have an interesting Border Patrol story from the day she was born, if we ever cross paths.
Howdy do Moby and Family, so very glad your holiday was warm and fuzzy. It certainly seems to roll around a little more often then in past years. I know you are so very proud of Jonah, he is a very handsome young man. My youngest daughter who is about his same age went to college to start her freshman year, (on a full MUSIC scholarship,I might add) just this past fall and it is difficult not having her around all the time. For the same reasons as with Jonah we are so proud it helps us to keep from missing her too much. She plays the clarinet and hopes to make a career sharing her love of Music with teaching children when she has her degree. My oldest daughter just graduated with her BA in Music Ed and is now a Middle School Band Director. We have truly been as blessed as you and yours have been. Moby, as you know all too well, enjoy those 1st steps as long as you can because they pass by too quickly and the footsteps become much further away. I'm sure you could not be happier for this holiday season unless your career was where you wanted it to be. We are all still patiently waiting to hear those wonderful "YEAH BABIES" loud and live when the time is right. You just hang in there and focus on what is important. God bless you all at Christmas and always. Brenda
I MISS YOU AS THE BEST DARN DJ IN ATLANTA!!!!! I am so happy that you and Mary Beth have a great home life. Now if those radio stations will just listen to the listners and put you back we will all be happy!!!! I cannot wait to hear you again as the DJ! I have listened to you in Texas and was delighted to hear you were coming to Atlanta. I feel like you are part of my family. A few years back we were at a Christmas party and 101.5 had thier party at the same place. My husband and I talked to you and it was like we knew you personally. Thank you! There was another time I was really down over a divorce and you talked to me on the phone *at kicks* and gave me encouragement. Thank you again. You see Moby, you are a big part of all of our lives and these stations need to see that we all love you and want to hear you as the DJ and not the traffic man. I will continue to pray that they see the light and for you and your family. Wow Can't believe Jonah is all grown up now. You take care and remember your fans really love and miss you!!!! God Bless
Hi Moby: I haven't visited your site in a while, but I also see it hasn't been updated in a while. Can you give us devoted Moby listeners an update on your situation? I really miss hearing you. I don't listen to Rock, I am a Country Music fan and want to hear you back there as well. Keep on hoping. Have a Merry Christmas and we will all be thinking of Jonah.
I am so glad to know you are still around. God BLess you and keep you.
We miss you! God Bless & keep you & yours safe.
We miss you! God Bless & keep you & yours safe.
Hi Moby, still missing you and waiting your return to a country music format. Gracie's beautiful. Have Happy Holidays. God Bless.
Moby -- Hey, wild man. Greetings from one of your old radio colleagues, CP (Cecil) Parker. I was with 93 Country-KPLV, a Moby affiliate, and we met and shared a few brewskis in Orlando at the ABC shindig. I'm in Heaven, Texas now (a.k.a. Austin). I'm with Stanhope & Geiger Advertising and it's even more fun than radio. I had a gig as a television station GSM and it made me realize that I needed to escape the corporate world. At Stanhope, we're about as non-corporate as one can get . . . and that's probably why we have so many great clients. Rita and I have been married for 25+ years and Zac is 19 and freshman at the University of Texas (Hook 'Em Horns!). I can't believe it took us so long to get to Austin -- it's fantastic. Let me know if you need a reference for a radio gig in these parts . . . or maybe we can use some voice work. Dude, Jonah is in the Navy? Have the years flown by, or what!! Mary Beth is apparently a very patient, understanding woman who doesn't . mind her hubby coming home with a pocket full of beer-soaked "say hidys". By the way, can you believe Mike Myers got away with stealing "Yeah, baby!" for the Austin Powers flicks? I say we press charges. Apparently, you're going through some issues with your current employment. Just tell 'em I've throughly reviewed the situation and they should give you anything you want. Later! CP
Hi Moby, Just checked your web page out. Glad you are doing ok. We have moved to TN. Was just thinking sure wish you could do something with "These Are My Sons". Seems as if this is the perfect time for it to be heard. If you have any ideas about it just let us know. Thanks, Wayne and Mitzi Hand
Moby, country music is not the same without you. I miss listening to you on the way to work every morning. May GOD bless you and your family and keep "your sailor" safe from all harm. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I keep waiting to hear your voice, in the morning, on my radio, on my country radio, with no strings or resentments attached. I don't know the details of your departure from Kicks nor your troubles with Z93, but I don't listen anymore. Rhubarb may be a nice guy, but I honestly can't stomach his niceness for any length of time. Moby please encourage all those folks to settle this thing and let's move forward. Miss ya much, Terry Fields, Madison, GA
We enjoy checking up on you from time to time, and like all your fans we keep hoping for the news of your return to the airwaves. As a gesture of loyalty to you, we do not listen to KICKS any longer, we were afraid that we might not understand city radio and all, being the hicks we must be for faithfully listening to your show for 10 years. Funny how I haven't heard of any of the current lineup over there winning any Billboard or CMA awards, those people must not understand city radio either. Rhubarb ain't MOBY, but he's keeping us company til you get back big guy. P.S. Our 6 year old daughter still asks where is Mr. Moby when we get in the car. To this family you never went off the air, we've just been a little out of range. Mark, Beth, Summer and Brittany Bosley
Hey Moby, hope you and yours are well. Just wanted to say I miss you on the radio. As a matter of fact I don't listen to the radio much anymore since you are not there, I listen to books on tape now. I find that more interesting, funny and or touching than any morning show now. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the happenings in your life and hopefully I will be able to hear your voice coming from my radio soon with a big "YEAH BABY".
WE NEED HELP IN AL THIS STATE. RADIO HERE SUCKS!! I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I HEARD YOU ON Z-93
Hey Moby, was a big fan of yours in houston 97 rock. Unbelivable news about Jon Jon........ Hanna did alright, didnt she. I spent most of my summers in the early and mid 70's growing up on the homestead in Crossville. Ingram's are good friends of mine. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Moby, It's great to hear about your family and your son i'm proud of him for joining the service. I've practicily listened to him grow up on your show in the morning. I do miss your show very deeply on kicks and the traffic thing just isn't you on z93. I look forward to hearing you once again on a country station in the Atlanta area hopefully soon. Please keep me in touch on where you go to and i'll for certain listen to your morning show. Sincerly, Jon
so glad to get an update on what's going on. I know you are really enjoying Baby Grace. Best of luck to you. Happy Holidays..
Dear Moby, We certainly miss hearing you on the radio, and as the OM of one of your original Moby In The Morning affiliates (in Jackson Mississippi) I enjoyed being part of the Moby 'family'. You are a true inspiration to all. Congratulations on your latest positive family developments. After all, nothing is more important than family. You'll always have a special place in many listeners hearts, including mine.
I was a fan of Moby's way back in the 80's back in Houston, Texas. He was on with John Matthews and a newcomer to radio, Hanna Storm (who's Daddy got her the job!). He had a great song he used to sing with his band, the Mobydiots. It was "Get Your Lazy Ass Outta Bed" written by a guy nicknamed Tophat. He took off for Dallas and I lost track of him over the years. He has lost a buncha weight and looks great. What's he off the air for?
Y108 IN PGH,PA IS IN NEED OF A GOOD MORNING SHOW.SURE WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR YOU AGAIN
Dear Moby, I have no idea what has happened. All I know is that one day you were on Kicks...one day you weren't. Then, I got excited because I found you on Z93 again. Then, you were gone again. My husband told me that you were doing the traffic. I'll be so glad to have you back somewhere full-time. One of your biggest fans.
happy thanksgiving moby. get back on radio soon. b.barker
Happy Thanksgiving Moby. May you and your family be richly blessed. This year we have two foster children for the holidays. What a blessing we have in our home. I hope all is well for you and your family. Hope to hear you on a morning show with you being the star soon! Take care

I didn't know what happened to you. I can't believe someone could be DUMB enough to let you go. I hope you get your just rewards soon. Congrats on the baby. Hope to hear you again soon. God bless you, Dot Harris
I moved away from atlanta 5 years ago, and recently went back for a visit. Much to my dismay there wasn't any MOBY anymore. What happened?
Moby, I am so happy for you and Mary Beth. Gracie Marie is an angle. I know ya'll will make her life complete as she will yours. Enjoy her little life every day. They grow up too quick. Hope to hear you back on a country station real soon. Love & God Bless you and your family. Michelle

Moby - I couldn't be happier for you and your home life these days! We always knew you had raised a fine son, and his service to his country is inspiring! Congratulations on Grace Marie's 1st birthday - I know that was a wonderful day for you & Mary Beth! Sometimes even the things in our lives that feel like "living hell" are a pathway to a better place -- and we just have to get through to the other side. I'll be waiting patiently for you on the airwaves like you should be, but in the meantime, appreciate the extra time you have to spend with your family! Missing you and still loving you, your "cousin" Gina!
Take the country out of country radio---what are you left with? Answer: half a country station. We miss ya Moby. Next time you down by Emory come up to the Vascular Surgery Clinic. There are some that would love to say Hey to ya. John Hock

Well Hello Mr. Moby. I sure do miss you voice every morning. I have to be honest and say I tried listening to Z93, but I am country through and through, what can I say, you have a tendency to spoil people. I'm waiting to here you have come back home to us in the country world. so until them I will just go broke buying country CD's. I refuse to listen to "other" wanta be's. I am so glad to here your life is where it was meant to be, and let Jonah know how proud of him we are, God bless you and your family. and hey...YEAH BABY
Great to find Moby again. Nothing would make happier than to have him sindicated or whatever it is they do right back up here to Louisville Kentucky again. Love Ya and Yeah Baby Margaret
Moby, heard some disturbing news at lunch today. One of my smoking buddies heard that you underwent surgery on your stomach and that you were not doing well. I am hoping that this is just some stoopid rumor and that you are and will remain in excellent health. Let me know what to tell my buddies becos she is definitely a Yeah Baby Moby Fan!!!! As I am!! Love ya, Moby.
You have been missed. Cannot wait for you to be back on the air with a country station. Glad to see that your family is doing well.
Dear Moby, I can't wait for you to come back to country music. You always made my day every morning when I would listen on Kicks. Hang in there with the traffic hell it'll get better just keep up the good work. Yeah Baby!! Andy
Glad all is well!
I like hearing your traffic reports...I think it is your calling...
Moby, I sure do miss your show. It will be a good day when you find another. I have tried to listen to Z93 just to listen to you, but I have moved on. That is not really something I can listen to on a daily basis. I just wanted to let you know I am still behind you and wish you would hurry up and get a new show already.
Moby I am so glad I stumbled onto your web site. Sounds like a lot of things have happened since you went off the air here in Louisville, KY. And of course there is nothing here that would even come close to Moby in The Morning. The Allgeier crew are all still partying and enjoying the Derby every year. Although it's not the same without Ted and Pop, the family and friends still get together and have fun. I'll be sure to keep a close check on your web site. We all Love You.
LIKE TO KEEP ABREAST OF WHATS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE. CONGTRATS ON THE NEW ADDITION BET SHE IS ALREADY SPOILED.BEST REGARDS TO YOU AND MARY BETH.
Moby we miss you terribly on the air. Hope to her you agian very soon!!

YEAH BABY..THAT'S WHAT MY TEE SHIRT SAYS..THE ONE YOU GAVE ME AT ONE OF THOSE ROLLIN' RADIO SHOWS THAT WE WOULD DO AT THE SHOPPING CENTERS AROUND ATLANTA. GREAT MEMORIES. I HOPE YOU CAN BRING THOSE BACK TO LIFE. YOU DID A LOT FOR THE LOCAL MUSICIANS AND I AM SURE I CAN SPEAK FOR ALL OF THEM THAT OUR THANKS AND GRADITUDE GOES OUT TO YOU.BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. KEEP IN TOUCH......JIMMY WAYNE
Me and my husband, Mark, always listed to you on 101.5. We really miss you and Debra. Our family would always go to see you at the festival of trees every year and my kids would sit in your lap. We felt like we were part of your family. I am glad you are doing well with your family and I am sure the little baby is a great joy. I love babies. Good luck in your career and I hope you stay in Atlanta. Connie Bagwell
Moby- I've never been fortunate enough to catch you live, but I have been treated to tapes of your show going back some 20 years when you worked with Matthews. You make me laugh very hard. Keep up the wonderful work.

MISS you loads and loads. Mornings just aren't the same any more. Looking forward to the day you are on the right road again no matter where you may be lead. May God hold you and yours in the palm of his hand. When have you heard from Eleanor?
Hey Moby! Thanks for the update on your website. I like to check back about once a month and see how things are going. I still miss you in the mornings! Keep the home news coming.
Moby, Glad you are happy in your home life, but I really miss hearing you each morning. Hope to hear you again soon.
I sure do miss you on Kix. It hasn't been the same since you left and it never will be.
i have missed you since 101.5. i am still not clear on the details of your release but whatever it was was a huge mistake. you helped me through many mornings when things were not going so well for me. i always knew i could count on you to make me laugh.you may remember me, iwas the guy in jezebel magizine who looked like travis tritt. we spoke on your show. i was also the lead singer for the band santa fe. i know that does not ring a bell but we opened for sawyer brown at six flags in 99 for 101.5 and we were treated horrible. so my opinion of them has not been good since. anyway i really hope to hear that gravelly voice of yours back on the air soon.loosing you was the worst thing 101.5 ever did. your friend austin wade.
Moby - It was so good to hear that you and your family are doing well. Without a doubt, someone higher above is definately watching over ya'll. I hope that your lawyers will be able to work "miracles" for you, because the only radio station that I will even consider listening to is 100.7 in Chattanooga - and even though it's country - it's not YOU and YOUR YEAH BABY SHOW!!! You are truly blessed with Mary Beth and Grace Marie, not to mention Jonah - so this Thanksgiving season I hope will be the happiest of all for all of you. Keep believing and have faith, strength, hope and love and know that your "true" fans will follow and support you with your every decision. We truly MISS YOU - "PEACHES"!!!!!

Keep believing and have faith, strength, hope and love and know that your "true" fans will follow and support you with your every decision. We truly MISS YOU - "PEACHES"!!!!!
hope to here you back on the radio country music side real soon. have been listening to you for a long time wish you and your family well.
Dear Moby, I am currently in Kuwait. Needless to say it is hard to listen to you. I am in the dark. What happened at Z93. If you don't mind me asking. Also I was away when ytou left Kicks. I never knew you left. I found out by searching "Moby" on the web. Well I have to get back to work. I hope to hear you on Kicks when I get back home
Moby, I've missed hearing you on the radio. Even if you are doing the traffic it is good to hear you. I hope that something gives soon. It can't be all that fun being in limbo. It would be really great to have you back in country. Sometimes I'll listen to country in the afternoons. Can't stomach the morning shows on any of the local stations.Mara and Dunham are ok but I only listen to them with the hope of hearing you do the traffic. May God Bless and keep you and yours safe and Happy. Happy Thanksgiving Moby. lol Pam.
Moby,we miss you dearly on the radio as I have stated to you before!i can hardly wait until all this contract stuff is resolved and you can rule the air waves again. My family and I love to hear you sing and we were wondering if you have any plans in the works to sing in public soon?We would love to come see you perform. You sang the heck out of "The Star Spangled Banner" when we heard you at Roswell Remembers on Memorial day.I know that is not the easiest song to sing from being in many choirs over the years ,but you absolutely nailed it !!
Hi Moby, I miss hearing you on the radio so much. I cannot and will not ever listen to 101.5 again. I wish you and your family a happy holiday season. Hopefully you will soon have your morning show again. I just wish it could be in Atlanta. God Bless!!!!!!!
Miss you, miss you, miss you! Please hurry back somewhere. My morning drive and early office hours have no entertainment. I need my southern boost.
Moby, Hi I used to listen to you in Houston back in the late '80s. I heard you went to Atlanta. Anyway, I was just looking at all my high school stuff and saw your name. So I did a search and this popped up. I hope all is well, you made me and many others laugh. I can't believe you're doing traffic. What's next, sales slut? Hang in there Ray
haven't heard your traffic reports this week? Did you finally break free? Please let us know where and when we can hear you!! Best of luck from all your loyal radio fans
Hang in there guy we all miss you, met you at thornton chev right after 9/11, also work in security at six flags and enjoyed talking with you, look forward to seeing you back in the real radio world soon, God bless you and your family, have a happy holiday season the adams family
Hello Moby. It warms my heart to hear how happy you are in your personal life. I still think of you often, have your old magnets on my fridge, and miss hearing you more than I could have imagined. I only recently started to listen to country music again, but I will never listen to Kicks again. Old Sweet Tater still doesn't have what it takes, but I have no other choice if I want to listen to country music. Hang in there. Love you, Linda
Moby, I am sorry you are off the tunes. I met you aboiut ten years ago when I worked under for the state. The strange Scotsman. It has been great to watchby ear Jonah growing up and now he is in the real service. Moby I know how much all of you do for kids and families and i hope you will be able to help get this story of A MOTHERS LOVE out to any one you can, on the air and in the public eye. This is true and absolute courage. Please read it Moby, we are all doing what we can. Best regards and prayers to you and you family. Sincerely, Frank Carson A BRIEF STORY OF TRUE COURAGE , STRENGTH, FAITH AND A MOTHER AND SON’S LOVE For those of us who believe we have seen true courage faith, strength and sacrifice. Whether you served in theaters of war, law enforcement, fire fighting or have just survived daily life. The courage of this mother and child will humble us all. It did me. A few months ago I had the honor of meeting a young single mother at her place of work. During these few months as I got to know her I learned that this young mother has four children. Her second child, a son named Austin. Born on August 18, 1997. Weighing only 5lbs. 7ozs. he was born with severe Cerebral Palsy. When her husband left at the break up of their marriage. Nicole was left with having to raise and financially support herself and her four children on her own and ensure and take care of Austin’s special needs. This resulted in her having to get TWO JOBS with varying shifts to accommodate the demands on her. I had the unforgettable privilege of meeting and spending a little time with this remarkable young man on two occasions. (The last time being Friday November 7, 2003.) Nicole his mother had told me before I met him that while Austin was confined to a wheelchair with many medical problems, could not control any of his limbs, nor verbally communicate. He was mentally very aware of everything around him and communicated with his eyes. I discovered the first time I met Austin and looked into those big brown eyes. That not only could he communicate with them, but there was a depth of soul, awareness, understanding and wisdom far beyond his six years. On the weekend of November 1, 2003 Austin became ill and was taken to hospital where his mother Nicole was told that Austin may only live one or two more weeks and all the doctors could do was try and make him as comfortable as possible. Nicole decided that she would take her son home and care for him herself with the doctors guidance. On Friday November 7, 2003 I went to visit this remarkable family. Looking into those big brown eyes again and talking to Austin I saw a strength and understanding in this remarkable child that I will never forget. During this visit I also witnessed the most unbelievable strength and courage I have ever seen. While talking with her dying son and dealing with all the things a single mother has to deal with, with an additional three children. Nicole at the same time had to take a telephone call to discuss the detail regarding her baby’s funeral while he was still alive and then come back to her children and deal with them as though the call was just someone saying hello. NOT ONCE DID SHE FALTER. COURAGE , STRENGTH, FAITH AND A MOTHER AND SONS LOVE Austin finally succumbed on November 8, 2003 at 7.40 p.m. at home. Austin was laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Tuesday November 11, 2003. Now it is our chance, privilege and opportunity in this time when we remember and honor sacrifice and courage to give support to this remarkable young mother and her children during this time of tragedy and grief. We can help in prayer AND we can help release some of the immense financial burden she is now faced with. In addition to allowing her time to comfort and console her other children, she will have to face the burden of many financial obligations resulting from this tragedy Please find it in your hearts to help by contributing to: Bank Detail: ACCOUNT NAME: A MOTHERS LOVE C/O COLONIAL BANK 390 CROGAN STREET LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA 30045
Hey Moby, nice to see things are going so well with your life and family. I know you have had lots of different gigs in the past 20+ years, and with that goes all the people/places your work takes you. But I just wanted to say 'howdy' from the Houston area and let you know some of us folks down here miss ya. As Im sure you would agree, seems like the other day I was 17 and hearing "Get your lazy azzes outta bed Houston" - and here it is I just rolled the big 4-0 a few weeks ago. Pretty sobering huh? Lots of water under the bridge since your ole 97 Rock gig here in H-town, but honestly, there hasnt been a morning show like yours since. These yahoos down here use sex and sleaze to get ratings, and you used your great personality and fun. Last time I had a chance to talk to you was one of those 97 Rock remotes at Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham, you remember those days? Whew it got rowdy them nights! LOL I guess we all had a lot less mileage back then! Believe it or not, I still have a 97 Rock bumpersticker! Anyway, hope all is well with your crew and congrats on your son and his new opportunity. My son is 17, and is petitioning the Naval Academy in Annapolis and will be a Marine officer here before too long. I understand how proud you are of your boy. Oooh-RAH ! Take care fella and thanks for the memories. -B-
thanks for all your support for the troops around the world. we all enjoy listening to you. you help keep up moral when were somewhere in a lost land. thanks
MOBY sad news from H. town Radio talk show host Jon Matthews was indicted on one count of indecency with a child Wednesday, News2Houston reported. A Fort Bend County grand jury handed down the sealed indictment Wednesday morning. Officials told News2Houston that a teenager who lives in Matthews' Sugar Land neighborhood went to police Oct. 9 and made accusations against Matthews. "Under the occasion contained indictment in early October, Mr. Matthews exposed his genitals to a child (a person under 17)," said John Healy, the Fort Bend County district attorney. "We have not alleged any contact." Matthews surrendered to Sugar Land police Wednesday afternoon
I hope your imprisonment from the morning shows is temporary and soon to come to an end. I have not listened to 101.5 but one time since you left. It was not the same or even close to the same. I find myself getting behind on new music now as I only listen to CD's or to talk radio. The only thing left on the radio that is interesting. Keep the faith as all things come to he who waits. Don't settle for less than your ability requires. Jerry
My very best wishes to you and your family especially for the holidays. Congratulations on your new baby girl. My family misses being with you in the mornings on our way to work and hope that someday soon we'll hear Yeah Baby again. Have a good one and talk to you soon!
Moby, I noticed you are no longer doing the morning traffic. I don't listen to that station but I check in once in awhile just to see if I can still hear your voice. I hope you find a radio home soon because I miss you in the mornings. I hope you find it here in the Atlanta area but mostly, I hope you find a true home that really appreciates you the way all your loyal fans do. God bless you and your wonderful family. Sheryl
Moby I miss hearing your voice each day. Thanks for keeping the web site. Can't wait until you will return to radio. Your favorite listener in Carrollton GA.
Good luck, where ever you land. I miss the scottsman song :-(

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ADOPTATION I WAS ADPOTED WHEN I WAS 3 DAYS OLD. I STILL LISTEN TO 101.5 HOWEVER IT IS NOT GOOD THE WAY IT WAS WTIH YOU,JIM AND DEBORAH. I HOPE SOMEDAY TO TURN THE RADIO ON AND HERE THE THREE OF YOU BACK ON THE AIR. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
Moby, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you and Jonah how much I appreciate what he is doing for our country. I am sure that your strong support of the Armed Services helped guide him to his decision. I am sure he knows just how proud you are of him. Please, tell him how proud your fans are of him as well. I am thankful that we have such wonderful young men and women out there defending the freedoms that so many of us take for granted.
Hi Moby, Mary Beth, Grace Marie & Jonah, Am so glad all is going well for you, and that you are happy now. Will be so glad to hear your sweet voice on the radio again on a country station. Really do miss all the fun with you, and being able to see you in public appearances around the area. Hope to see you doing these things again real soon. Glad you got rid of your agent. It's too bad when someone like him only thinks about themselves and not who they are representing. You will do better on your own, or maybe have Mary Beth as your agent. She would be good at that. She really does love you, and I am happy to see that. Tell the family hello for me, and I hope you have a great holiday season. Love Ya, Mary Little Bear
Moby,We only wish for the day when we can hear our favorite DJ in the air again. We truly miss sharing your programs each morning. That would be the topic of some of conversations each nights. To ask each other about some of your listeners thoughts & problems. You REALLY CARED about each and every one. We care and miss you. Come Back!!! Harold & Maria Adairsville, Ga.
Hi Moby, I didn't know that Dan Marino got the nite shift on 101.5~~ I havent listened since you left~~ but, on Sun, the vehicle I was riding in, happened to have the radio set on that station. What a trip!!!!! What were they thinking???? He was always saying he was the Fifth Beatle, and it got me so mad!!!!!! ~~as we all know that Brian Epstein was the original. Wish you could get back on Country or Oldies it would be great either way. just no rap please!! the radio is so plain and empty without you there Yeah Baby! Patti(jefferson ga)
Moby , I will be glad when you get back to the country side of things also, anyways keep smiling, tough times make us stronger individuals, take care, Big Nate
Yust a note to let you know that we all miss your show. Hope you can stay in Atlanta. I wish you and your family the best. Have a happy Holliday Season. We will be Listening to the Three Trees and Thr Art Collectoragain this year. It has become a Holliday Tradition. Brian

God Bless you and your wonderful family Moby. My family and I love and miss hearing you every morning on Kicks. We do listen to you sometimes on Z93 but it just isn't the same. Happy Holiday's. Yeah Baby, Linda
Hi, Moby. Words cannot express how much you are missed. I have listened to you ever since you came to Atlanta. I feel like you are part of my family. You were able to get me through middle school, high school, college, and the first few years of my teaching career. You along with your show were always things I felt I could depend on. Since I am a teacher I was a dedicated listener through the school year, however during the summer, I have to say, I enjoyed sleeping in so I was not able to listen as often. Then one morning I turned on my radio and there was no Moby. I felt as my mornings were lacking something. I search to find out what had happened. Personally, I never heard anything from the station as why you were not there. I needed away to say "so long" to someone who had been a part of my life. Maybe a farewell show would have been enough closure. After you left I searched for a replacement. Then, when I heard you were going to be on Z, I was very excited. Eventhough, the music is not my favorite I listened to hear your familiar voice. It is amazing how one person can feel a connection to someone they simply hear. Now, I find myself tuning in to traffic just to hear a familiar voice. Thanks for the great times. No other show has such a connection with the listeners. I can't wait til you find a solid radio home. My husband's father use to hunt with you a little and my brother fished several of your bass tournaments. Congratulations on everything you have achieved. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
Moby sure miss hearing you in the mornings now more than ever, it is deer season and miss hearing how you are doing.Hope you are making it to the woods and hope you are having more than your usual hunting luck.Have talked with you in person and and phone several times mostly about hunting hope to hear you talk about it again on the air soon. If you need a hunting trip email me be glad to put you in a stand(not worried about you killing anything but time the big one usually gets by you Just Kidding) i keep checking your web site to see whats going on best of luck with all if it Gary
thanks for all the laughs and the cries your a good man and i hope you get that radio show very soon.i dont like z93 so i dont listen to it i miss my yea babys in the mornings driving to the station. we missyou moby be carful and good luck. wayne
Your on traffic? oh there is no justice in this world. You wouldn't believe how much I miss you Moby. I feel like we grew up together in Atlanta. Every morning I'd listen to you on the way to work. Then I moved to this pergitory up here in Pennsylvania. What I wouldn't give to get back to Atlanta, or even better still Tennessee. Knoxville to be more exact. I remember you telling us your from Crossville TN. I know I traveled through there often. Moby, this station up here...froggy.. well what can I say...at least it's country, but it's not Moby in the Morning. I'd have listen to you on Z93 or whatever station you'd ended up on in Atlanta. Anywhere but here in Penn. I miss the South so much. And I miss listening to you in the morning. God bless you Moby. You have my vote anytime and anywhere you need it. Best Wishes. Stephen.
I have admired your work over the years and regret that you have found yourself in such a situation. I always loved your Southern Drawl, being a native of N. Florida myself. I thought your accent was one of the most authentic in country music. Also thought you were one of the outstanding Country DJs in the nation. Would love to have you down here in SW Fla, although it is a smaller market than your talent warrants. God Bless to you and your family. Hang in there.. Terry Wimberley Bonita Springs, FL
MOBY!! Back in early 80s in Houston you entertained my 12 yr old son and me while we lifted weights. You helped us bond. Thanks man.
Hi Moby! i just wanted to stop by and say hello and i sure do miss you on a country station! i hope you are back where you are meant to be real soon. yeah baby !!!! from a loyal "peach" jenny
Hi Moby. Glad to read your update. My husband was just talking about you yesterday. He said that he really misses waking up to "Good morning Peaches." It just isn't the same without you. Although, we never have met you, we feel like you were our friend. I'll never forget listening to you on 9/11. It was like we were one big family. We were going through all of this together. I hope you can get your own in Atlanta. They really need someone like you. I'm go glad that you are so happy. Your baby girl is beautiful. You and Marybeth seem so happy! Do you still keep in touch with Eleanor? I loved hearing your stories about her. Thanks so much for the updates. We're all pulling for you!
Moby, I am so glad you are still reaching out to your "radio family". Each update just keeps the stitches going...we are bound by many experiences and emotions that were shared for so many years. This quilt of friendship and love will keep me warm on cold winter days. You sound so happy!!!! Life is good when you share it with someone you fall in love with more each day. Mary Beth puts the smile on your face and Grace Marie puts the twinkle in your eyes and Jonah puts the proud in your heart. Way to go... Sandee
Please let me know when you are back on radio full time. I am a retired policeman and former Marine and you have made all of us proud to know you. A special prayer goes out to your Son and thanks to him and men like him our country stays strong and the best place to live in the world. God Bless
You have so much to offer. Go for the gusto. Don't have anyone tell you no or you can't. Been there, done that. Wanted to let you know that I've been thinking about you, finally find you and you won't be forgotten. Atlanta is not the answer for everyone.
Moby, Miss you Moby and can no longer accept your replacements. Have left WKHX for Rhubarb Jones. Good luck. rg
hEY NO LONGER JUST A FAX MACHINE Please write so we can come see the baby and bring the gift from BassPro Love ya Lawrence and Michelle

Hi Mr Moby,it was really nice meeting you Saturday night at Rising Star Karaoke's contest show, you seemed to be having a great time. I am sorry to hear things have not been going so well for you with radio,I had no idea,I guess you could say I have been so busy with my business I have not been listening to radio for awhile,I can say I used to listen to you all them time when you with the country station. My family and I moved out here to GA from CA 9yrs ago and your station was the only one we would listen to. My daughter was really little at the time and we used to get her to say YA BABY. She doesnt remember this, she was actually with me Saturday evening,Im not sure if you got to meet her or not,she has really dark hair. Saturdays event was such a great time, and we are all looking forward to the New Years Eve Gala,I am a sponsor for that event, and I know Glenn and Michelle would love it if you could make it,and if you would like to be a judge again I know it would be a honor for them and the rest of us. If not we hope you will just come and relax and enjoy yourself, bring your wife to. Take Care Mr Moby and YA BABY
Moby, I'm glad to see you are hanging in there with those traffic reports. I am anxiously awaiting your return to the morning drive time airways (hopefully in Atlanta). It definately makes my commute more enjoyable. Take care. Chris
"... back on my own show somewhere. I don’t know when or where, but I do know that it’ll be a country music program..." Looking forward to that day. Hang in there. Vivian Price Saffold
Hey Moby, I am glad to hear that you and your family are doing well. We haven't found a morning show like yours yet so we can't wait till you come back. Hopefully it will be here in Atlanta. If not we still love to come to your site and see how things are going. We wish you and your family best of everything. Much Love, Nicki
Thank you Moby for the update. My computer crashed some weeks ago and I felt out of touch with the internet world, but we are up and going. The first site to place in the favorites box is yours. Our church is having and week of fasting and praying and I wanted you to know we are lifting all our troops up and asking for their continued protection. Also for the change of heart on our enemies part It seems God is blessing you richly in this down time with the traffic reports. He always knows what we truely need.He will prosper you because of your faithfulness. Be blessed always Marie
Hi Moby - Since you left 101.5 I have roamed the stations and foun you on Z93. Glad to hear it's not a permanent stop. I am a managing broker for a local Real Estate company and you always provided that sense of right and breath to go in to work feeling good and truly caring about our world and the people in it. Get back to work soon my friend... and may God bless you and your family.
Moby, please hurry and get back on the air. We miss you so much!! I know that Gracie is giving you a lot of fun, our Miss Lily is!! She's 8 months old and the love of these old grandparents life right now. Fenceboy turned 13 on 11/2/03. He still talks about coming out to your house and repairing your neighbor's fence. Hope to hear you soon on the air. Good luck in your endeavors!!Marilyn, Tommy, & Shane Kelly
HI Moby, It is wonderful for you to have this great life!! Some people dream all their lives, and never have one dream come true GOD BLESS you and your family. take care YEAH BABY!!!!! Patti (Jefferson,Ga.)
Moby, I'm still surfing the stations daily hoping to hear some reference to a new show with you hosting.....I was (and am) a faithful Moby listener and so far I haven't found any station or host that measures up to the standard you set. Can't wait until you're on the waves again and I can set my radio to a single station again. I'll keep checking you site with the hopes the wait will soon be over.
Hello Moby: Keep the faith. I think the Atlanta market could support anouther country station, maybe something like this will come available and you could help give the others some compitition. I believe, things happen for a reason and by keeping the faith, things will work out for the good.
I've started seaching other radio stations for driving to work in the mornings, after listening to 101.5 for what seemed "a hundred years". May God Bless you and your family. He has a plan, we just have to wait for His schedule. Take care.
hurry up and come back to country music
I have missed you so much. You always had a kind word or a laugh for everyone. Hope to see(hear) you on a country music station very soon. I no longer listen to 101.5 ,the morning show is just not the same . It is dull and boring now, which it never was with you. Not having you on the show is their loss.
I still miss you terribly..I don't even listen to that station anymore.......I've jumped over the 94.9 Lite FM....pretty boring there too..I'm so excited about your new baby and the joy that she brings....too, great about Jonah. Our children are truly God's greatest gifts. I have a daughter who is a senior in college at Reinhardt...the other Sunday we went to church up there and to lunch.....at lunch she said "What is the latest on Moby ?" Is that not cool....a 22 year old with a busy busy life, asking me the latest on Moby ! See guy, you touched a lot of folks, not just country music fans. Your job situation sounds stupid....thank God for contracts...I had a 16 year career with the home office of a major fast food company (No names, but initials are CFA).....went in one day and my job had been abolished....I could stay if I would go from being a Manager to being a secretary...pride got in the way and I left...big mistake. Glad to see you are hanging in there for a while....I've tried different "careers" since that time in 2000 but am presently unemployed. At "my age" which is mature, I'm having a hard time even getting interviews...I've over qualified for everything...no one can understand that I'm off the corporate fast track and just want a job.....not to manage anyone or anything...just go to work and go home. Thanks for being you. Sincerely, Sandy Leary, Peachtree City GA
Hey Moby, We miss you out in radioland. I have been waking up with you for 7 1/2 years. I especially miss starting my day with you each morning. Its just not the same. I miss Moby's Corner, the Wake up Song, and especially on Friday the Scotsman Song. I can't wait untill you have your own morning show again, but I hope you will be on a station that I can pick on my radio. And another thing; I still want to kill that pesky rooster. Chris P.S. I can't wake up NO I can't wake up!!!!
Moby I listened to you on 101.5 until you quit. I moved here just a few mounths before you did. Then I started listening to you the day you started on z93. But now just surff the radio. Hope you will be local when you get your show. Loved your morning shows and look foreward to when we can start the days with you again. Really glad your home life is great. Fill like we knok you personally. Del
Every morning I skip through the Atlanta Country Stations trying to find music playing. I hope and pray that you find a home in Atlanta. No other DJ can compete and frankly most of the morning shows are either dumbed down or totally obnoxious. God bless you and yours.
I miss your humor Moby. I was a sophomore in high school when you came to join us here in Atlanta. I miss your songs. Everytime I hear "Bless Your Heart" I think back to the mornings driving to work or to class with you and the family. it's just not the same brother. YEAH BABY!
Moby - I am missing the WereCow song this morning. Wish I could find it to share with some co-workers. Miss you!!!
I don't know exactly what happened to you. I have to admit I am curious. I have listened to you ever since you came to ATL. I have to say though that I didn't make the transition to Z93 with you. However I do listen on occassion. I am a reserve soldier called on active duty on Dec 08 2001. This is my second war as a reservist. I have been in the military for 21 years and I am proud to serve with your son. He kinda seems a part of the family since I heard so much of him growing up. Thats what I miss most about your show. The only thing close now is 106.7. I hope you can take the time to read this because you are missed.
Nothing like Mr. Moby...
Moby, We miss you up here in West Virginia when your show used to air on WKKW. Never have found another morning show that I liked since! Good to hear you have been doing well, and found a lovely lady to share your life with. Take good care and hang in there, you will find another show to bless with your presence soon.
keep your chin up Moby, looking for you on another country station soon. Take care buddy.
i miss you terribly.
Thank you for up dating us on your standings at work. I do not listen much to morning radio since you are not the morning DJ on Z93. Since I do not have far to travel to work in the mornings it's just me and Kenney Chesney on the cd's. I am very happy for the ever lasting love you have found in Mary Beth. Please thank her for sharing you with your radio family. And for Jonah, I thank you and his mom for raising such a fine young man. Grace is a very lucky little girl. May God Bless you richly and may he your family in his path.
Moby, I am a truck driver and I have listened to you for years. YOU were the only reason I'd shut my truck down in Atlanta at night so I could wake up to "YEAH BABY". I hope and pray to beable to hear you once again doing another morning show. YOU made my mornings ENJOYABLE even though I was stuck in gridlock. Hope to hear ya soon out there. God Bless.
Sure do miss hearing that "sweet" voice in the am,dont listen to much country since Dixie Chicks and Moby left
Never mind last entry. I found the pictures. Really cute ones of her 1st birthday. She has a sweet smile, just like her mom and dad.
Sorry to see that Grace Marie's pictures are gone. I hope you will take new ones as she grows and allow us to see her.
Moby, Glad to hear all is well at home. Looking forward to hearing you on a morning show. Tell those damn lawyers to get this thing settled soon so I can quit listening to these boobs on country radio and listen to a true professional once again. Joe Deslattes
Moby, Glad to hear all is well at home. Looking forward to hearing you on a morning show. Tell those damn lawyers to get this thing settled soon so I can quit listening to these boobs on country radio and listen to a true professional once again.
Hey Moby, Glad to hear that the laywers are finally talking. You deserve more then doing traffic reports. Well I hope to return to Atlanta and Ft McPherson after I am done in Korea and when I do I hope to hear you back with your own show. Yeah Baby. Jim
Miss you in the morning. It is hard to get going without you in the morning.
Moby; My stint here in Europe is going well. I still have fifty or so close civilian friends and several thousand millitary ones "down in the sand". THe civilians are there to support the military and they do an outstanding job! Many times in spite of the Government leaders who belittle and try to "privatize" the federal workforce. enough soapbox. Stay well and here is hoping that you are back on the air someplace withing broadcast range of ATL by the time I return to "the biggest city in the South". STEVE
Hey Moby and family! Good to see you are well and happy with your new home life. Congrats on your new addition. Me...I am presently in ICU in Pittsburgh, but hope to come home soon. I am fine and faced yet another surgery, but I am still here and kicking! Miss hearing you daily and hopefully one day soon that will be a reality. May God Bless you all and please keep me in your prayers.

Thenks and I wish yall well. Tell Jona Thanke for serving. There are good things in store for you.
Was just thinking about ya this morning and how I have no radio home any longer......I tried to listen to Rhubarb again as I did before you came and breathed fresh air into Atlanta. There is NO replacement for Moby in the Mornings and, until you are on the air again, there never will be! I'm sure God has great plans for you....you are living part of that now with MaryBeth and the little one! Remember, Ole Pal, every day above ground is a good day!! Love to you!!!
Hey Moby. Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Boy, you are sorely missed. I have to lisen to the 4 minute clip often to get hear my 'Moby'. Atlanta radio just isn't the same without you. I never was a country fan until you came to town. I thank you for all of the warmth and caring you shared over the years. I am so glad about little Grace. She is beautiful and I know you and Mary Beth are really enjoying her. My baby girl just turned six yesterday, so I know the joy you are feeling. Jonah is also really something to be proud of. Its takes someone really special to defend our country and a really special parent to instill those values in them. Good job Moby. Miss ya and hope to hear you soon.
MOBY: I apologize that I haven't written in a while. My political season started a while ago and I'm trying to put together my agenda for this years Legislative Session. I was gone onl 2 years and its been like I starting from scratch. Death will forever be a part of living and my grandmother passed away a week ago this past Friday; she was 96. It seemed she didn't want to let go (you know how stubborn our family is. I told my mother her place was with HER mother and I can fend for myself. Before my mother left to get on the airplne to Phoenix, Arizona, I told my mother to tell "Bity Dan" not to worry or be afraid, Drew, my late brother, and a whole bunch of people are up in heaven waiting to guide her over the bumpy first couple days. I had a demand of "Bity Dan" the she wasn't allowed to pass away until she was 100 years old.:I told my mother to tell her (my grandmother) that if GOD and Jesus call......GO!!!!!!!!!! Them's 2 folks one just doesn't agrue with. I had switched mattresses with the bed with the other bed in my spare bedroom made my bed 4 feet and change off the floor. Not a good move. The carpeting on my floor is commercial grade and falling on its like falling on a concrete floor. I made that trip twice, breaking some toes the second time. On a brighter note, I'm still on the waiting list for a Liver/Kidney transplant; a miracle unto itself. I go once a month for bloodwork to determine my place on the list (severity). I'm 20th on the list, again not decrepit enough. I told my Gaastrointestinal doctor there is plenty of people out there that will gladly tell him I'm more than decrepit enough. I was thinking of some thing you might like. There was a man on TV years ago that did "warm and fuzzy" stories about homespone parts of Georgia, showing off the kiinder parts of Georgia culture. If you would like doing thois kind of thing (you have an excellentTV presence), you might want to give it a try with "THE BIG BOYS!!!!!!!"
i just wanted to congratulate you on all the greatness on your life and the rest will turn around in time i think back to the many tiomes that you have been an inspiration to me and my daughter as she is batteling her illness and make you a deal you continue to pray for us and we will do the same for you will listen to you no matter where you are
Moby - Was a big fan of yours when living in Atlanta. Moved to WV in late 1999 and was shocked to hear everything that has been going on in your career. I never thought someone could be too country for the South. But then what do I know. God Bless you and your family and I know that you will land on your feet again soon.
From an old fan from the "Moby & Matthews" days in Houston and parties with the "Town-Talk Houston" group. I thought that you were here in Arkansas also since I've heard your voice overs on some radio ads here in Hot Springs. BTW, Jon may need some support down in Sugarland
Thought I would check back at your sight to see if you had broken the chains of oppression and were finally back on the air somewhere. I do indeed miss your show. Listened to your 4 minute clip and got homesick. Glad that your personal life is prospering. Thanks for all you have given to your Atlanta fans over the years. God's speed and blessings as you appear to have already received his "Grace" (pun intended).
Hey Moby, I gotta tell ya morning radio just isn't the same without you running the show. I listen to Z93 just to get a "MOBY FIX" when you do the traffic reports. Congrats on the baby, she is beautiful!!!! I visit you website often and love the updates you put here. Keep us informed Love Ya Pall!!!
I have been a Moby fan from the day he got here in Atlanta, I miss him taking me to work every morning. I have now gone to the other station. Without him and Deborah its just not the same. God bless you and your family. Hope to hear from you again.
heya moby! i just had to come here because ive been missing hearing yah on kicks every morning! if it were up to me, you would still be at kicks every morning helping me wake up with the wake up song! thanks for being moby, and never change! i doubt that you rembmer, but at the tug a plane about 3 years ago, my dad brought me up to talk to you and you told me that when i got famous singing, not to forget the little people, like you! trust me moby, i wont! thanks so much!
Hey Mr. Moby, Why dont you get hooked up with Sirius radio satelite and then we all can listen to you NATIONWIDE!!!!! Yeah Baby
Don't get discouraged ol'boy. Your fans aren't going anywhere. We're stuck in the same traffic mess every day - and we'll still be sitting there when the yo-yo's in suits wise up and put you back on the air in a country format. I pop over every once and awhile to listen to your traffic report - and imagine you smirking and drinking coffee in between reports as you shake your head that they are paying you big bucks just to give you an extended sabatical. If I were you - I would demand a remote setup in your home so you can avoid the traffic yourself. See ya buddy.
Moby, it just ain't the same without you every morning. I guess it will never be like it was in the good 'ole' days with you and Jim and Deborah. I remember how proud I was to wear my Kicks 101.5 t-shirt that had a big 'ole' YEAH BABY on the front!!! (Boy, I'm getting old, that was many moons ago!) I always said I'd never listen to old "Rudebega" Jones if you ever left 101.5. And I followed you to Z-93, which is what I grew up on, but I just couldn't do without my country music. So now I listen to Rudebega, and he does have a big heart, which is what made me such a dedicated Moby fan, and they do play a lot of golden oldies, and they they have the comedy thingy at 7:30 every morning......I guess I'll just have to "make do" until you come back to country music! I love ya, Moby - Sandra James, Monticello, GA PS - I'm glad home life is going well - Jonah making you proud, Grace coming into your and Mary Beth's life - I know your mama is smiling down...
Hey Moby Just checking in to say hello and I hope all is going well with you and your family. I hope to hear how and what you are doing soon. Congrats on Grace. You are right, there needs to be more Grace in the world. Belinda
HEY MR. MOBY, WE HAVE BEEN BACK IN ATLANTA FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH (FOUR YRS AGO WE MOVED TO OHIO). WE WERE SAD TO HEAR THAT WE COULDN'T GET OUR MORNING "KICKS" WITH YOU ANYMORE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? AND WHAT IN THE WORLD HAVE THEY DONE WITH DEBRA AND JIM? MISS YOU MUCH...DEE, KEN, AMANDA, & KODY
Moby, You sang for me when we burried our 13 year old daughter and I miss the closeness we all felt for you. We to are about to adopt a little boy that we have been fostering in Conyers for 18 months, He will be a great little brother to our other daughter who is 13 and also loves him very much. God Bless and Good Luck, Allen Nolan Conyers, Ga
Moby, We listened to you when we lived in Atlanta. We have been in Tennessee for the past 9 yrs & have missed you ever since. I was looking on the net today to see if I could find a place to listen to you online. I hope that will happen soon.

Moby,
Just checking to see what you've been up to. Congratulations on your baby girl. She is beautiful. My son, Justin, wants to join the Navy also. Any tips that Jonah did to get where he is with the Navy? My son is fourteen. Well, hope to hear from you soon. Talk to you later. If you get a chance in your busy schedule e-mail me. Talk to you later. Eric
Isn't life strange and doesn't "the Web" make it even stranger sometimes? I accidentally found you when I was just recently thinking of how radio is now being monopolized by "a certain Nationwide Corporation"..how boring it has become...how they have "all-purpose" DJ's now...and how much music is suffering due to this. I was also thinking about how different radio was when I was a "kid"..Sadly, I'm NOT EVEN THAT OLD!!! I'm talking WAY BACK in the 1980's even!! You were on ROCK 101 in Houston! Radio was galmorous, fun and a little bit wild and naughty..like you!! I'm afraid for the future of music and any creative forces when they are being controlled in such a greedy, generic fashion! Please, when we've allowed them to finish killing radio and all the music has died...I hope I'm not the only one at the funeral and the only one who's cried!
Moby, What a beautiful baby girl! I too have a baby girl that is adopted. She's from China. It is truly a rewarding thing. I'm so glad to hear about Jonah. I feel like all of yall are family...part of my family. I'm a long time listener (since you came to Georgia) and I do miss hearing Yeah Baby every morning. Every time I hear Brooks and Dunn "I'm a Brand New Man" I bust into chorus of "I'm the little man!" I'll keep dropping in from time to time to see if anything has changed! Once again...Congratulations on the new baby girl!
glad to hear about your new baby girl. can not wait to hear you back on the radio. really have missed waking up with you in the mornings.
Moby, I know that with your fantastic memory for people there is a chance you might remember me. I am the Submariner. I will never forget how happy I was to get that tape of your show from my mother 1/2 way through one of my patrols. You were my connection to home during a lonely time. The sad part is I am out of the service now and living back in the Atlanta area and home isn't the same without you on the air. I just wanted you to know that I am one more fan who still scans the radio with hope of hearing the voice that belongs there. Best Wishes for you and your family. Jamie Sims

Moby, I have sure missed you more than you know. You really got a RAW deal in this city. You were a radio "ICON" and for you to wind up doing the traffic on a rock n roll station is so wrong. I heard you for the first time doing the traffic yesterday, and you sounded unhappy. I don't blame you. I literally have cried for you. You are the best DJ ever, I don't care what those "Yankees" say. These people with the Atlanta Radio Stations don't have any idea what they are doing. I have told them off more than once. (Not that it does any good.) I still love my country music but don't really want to listen to the radio anymore. It is too depressing. I wish you and your family the very best, you certainly deserve it! Please stay in-touch. Lot's of Love, Marci Smith Jonesboro, GA
moby where are you now????
Moby, I just got through reading your latest comment. I have to agree with you in that I hope we all remember how important it is and how lucky we are for being Americans. My dad (John Burch)was probably the most patriotic man I knew. I always read your letters and comments with my dad close to my heart as he loved to listen to you every morning. He would even log on and listen to you when you were no longer on the air in Louisville. It's hard to believe sometimes that he passed away 3 1/2 years ago. I pray that you will be able to find that "just right" job soon. You have brought so much joy to our family, and I'm sure that there are many more families that also miss you. With Love, Ruthie White
Moby, I finally found you - I didn't realize you had a website of your own - it's great! I am so happy for you and Mary Beth and the new baby. Tomorrow is the Chili Cookoff and I was thinking about the time a few years back when me and a few of my girlfriends went and you signed your autograph on my leg - we laughed about that forever. When my father passed away, he was a DeKalb Police Officer, you sent me the tape "Believe" and I still have that. Glad to see you're family is doing well and the "new dad" is too. Hope you have your own radio station again REAL SOON - we miss ya! Yea baby - Connie D./Duluth, GA
Dear Mr. Mobby I am writing you to say thank you for the many years of inspiration and entertainment you have provided for me. As a young man growing up in the south I found your show very easy to relate to. I have laughed at your chunks of fun and cried when other loyal listeners passed away. You brought me some of my favorite songs and They have helped me through some of my darkest times, I miss hearing you across the waves and I am a so proud to hear of your sons achievement. I have my own Heating and Air Company now and in a way you are part of that. Thanks for some good laughs.
I'm pulling for you. You're a great American. I just can't bring myself to visit 101 since you were there. Keep your chin up--the only way you can be defeated is to do it yourself. You're a winner. Larry Upthegrove
