I first heard "Moby In The Morning" during what, I guess, was a period of syndication for you. The station was Y-106 or K-104 in Monroe, Louisiana and the year was somewhere around 1995 or '95. The mornings have never been the same without your "Hey, Peaches!" or those ads for Herring Furniture in Strong, Arkansas. What ever happened to your syndicated show? Maybe it's time you jump on that ship again.

Hello Mr. Moby, I just finished reading your letter. It was so well written. The reason I went to your web site was a good friend of mine, and I were singing your (I’m your mailman) song last Friday. We never discussed ever listening to you, and he was singing words from that song and I continued where he left off. We both were reminiscing over you after that, the great time period when you were in Houston. The 97 Rock, Moby in the morning, The M&M Show days. What a great period in time and what wonderful memories. You have brought great joy to my life. I did pick you up on the radio when you were syndicated for a while, and then I would listen to you via streamline from the computer. Since then I’ve been engulfed in my children, and my wife. Hard to enjoy Gods blessings when you loose track of what is important from our materialistic life. I try to stay focused but I tend to loose sight of it from time to time. Then I find your web site, read your letter, and I reconnect with my happy place. I call the center of my universe my happy place. It is my true reference point. Your letter has helped me find it again. Thank you! It sounds like you have put all the pieces together for your happy place. Congratulations to Jonah the Navy Wow! Great job! Tell him I’m thankful he will be there to protect our freedom. I remember when Jonah was born, and how proud you were of him. It is hard to believe how fast they grow. . Congratulations with your daughter Gracie how proud you and your wife must be. Wherever life takes you, please let me know. I want to find away to listen to you. Thanks for the memories. God Bless Sincerely, Steve A. Ogle

Hey Moby, I sure miss hearing you in the mornings,(I don't even listen to Atlanta radio anymore-thank God for cd players) but I keep up via your webpage. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you. I know you are proud of Jonah and the new baby girl! -- Mr. Moby I was determined not to bother you with this, but it is that time of year again, and I seem to have exhausted all other avenues. Could you please e-mail me and let me know where a copy of werecow might be found. I have searched the music stores and the web for this- but no luck. Halloween is just not the same without Moby and the werecow. I look forward to the day that you are back on the air and life gets back to normal for all of us! Hope to hear from you soon. Tim

Hey, Moby!!! Heard from David Shaw today and he told me that your family had adopted a little munchkin .. told me to go to your website and look at the pix. She is absolutely gorgeous! Congrats to you, Mary Beth and Jonah. I look at all the pix on your website and it gave me a funny feeling to be seeing you again (so to speak). Your arm grossed me out but the doc did a good job stitching it up. When you have time in your busy schedule, please give me a call so that I can just say Hi, and Yeaahhhh Babyyyyyy!!! Love to you and yours. Cheryl (with a few hugs and kisses)

Dear Moby- I sure miss hearing you in the morning. The old station is not the same and I can't even listen to it anymore. The new guys don't hold a candle. I listen to Z93 just long enuf to hear the traffic reports--just wanted to know you are missed. I hope some station in Atlanta is smart enuf to pick you up and we can again have Moby on the air!! Congratulations on Jonah's accomplishments--I too had a son graduate at Great Lakes in 1993 and the trip up for the weekend was heart wrenching and heart warming. Congratulations also on Grace--God bless your family with love and happiness always. You helped me through a troubling time a few years ago when my sister took her life, and I will never forget your encouragement. Good luck and God bless--and be sure to keep us up to date on the career moves--I know good things are in store. Love from a loyal listener.

Hey Moby! I was thinking about you today and did a search to see if you had a website. I am an old listener, back in the old 97Rock days in Houston! You are one of the BEST radio personalities and it's a shame that you are not currently on the air. I have many great memories of those Moby in the morning days on 97Rock! What a great station that was! I remember when your son was born, I about fell out of my chair reading that he is in the Navy now! How time flys! You may not be here in Houston any longer, but you will never be forgotten! Angie Spring TX

Congratulations to Moby and Mary Beth on your new baby! Grace is a beautiful baby. Abd congratulations to Jonah in his great accomplishments! His future is a testament to your faith and your greatness in life. Thank you for letting us share these moments with you and your family. My mother (sondra) and I switch radio stations only during the traffic reports - just to hear the voice that has brought us so much joy from the years! As for 9/11, we visited the Field of Flags in rememberance of 9/11 and while there we talked about that day. I had been in school and didn't know anything until the afternoon; she was listening to you all morning. She told me about the way you brought peace of mind to her while she worked. Since she works outdoors, she hadn't been able to see the events unfold, but she remembers what you were saying to the "T" and although it was horrifying - you comforted her and for that I thank you!!!! It is my hope that you are able to use your forum to bring to light the many joys and blessings adoption has to offer! May God Bless you in all you do. Carla Butler

Dear Moby, Congradulations on the adoption of your new baby daughter. She is beautiful!!!! "Oh The Happiest Days are When Babies are Born " is quote from "Gone With The Wind" .I think it should have been changed to "When Babies Come Into Our Lives".She is one Blessed little girl to have both you and Mary Beth for parents. I also want to tell you just how much this family misses your wit ,compassion, and wisdom in our lives on a daily basis.I have thought about this daily as I have taken my daughter and now my son to school on a daily basis. That was our "Moby" time. Her Teachers would often tease me when I would bring her in to class because I'd either be laughing at something that you had just shared with us listeners or I'd have big tears in my eyes.More often than not it was the later. I also want to tell you again as I had the opportunity to at a concert in the months post 9/11 You did an awsome ,awsome job in the days that followed that tragedy in helping some of us to begin to deal with the realization of what our country had just been through.I will forever be greatful to you for that. Love Always -Your Peachtree City Fans

Hello Moby, I just wanted to say that my father and I have missed hearing you in the mornings. We were laid off from work in Atlanta and when we returned , you were not on the air. We were wondering , what had happened? I know that you were alot better than what is on now. I hope to hear you in the future. We live in a small town called Manchester, Ga. It takes us about an hour and a half to get to work. We are carpenters and install computer floors , drop ceilings and vct. Let your son know that I know what he is going through, I was in the Navy and did my boot camp in Orlando , Fl. I was a Quartermaster. I tried to go to subs, but did not make it all the way through class. I was stationed on the U.S.S. Detroit(AOE-4). It has since been decommissioned. Just tell him, It is a great thing that he does not only for his Country, but , for himself. I wish that I had stayed in . I was a 3 by 3 by 2. Did alot of crazy things that have come back to haunt me in back and shoulder ailments. But, I wouldn't trade the time for the world. I made alot of friends and i try to keep in touch with some, it is hard. It was nice to talk with you and I hope that we get to hear from u soon, If not on the radio, mabe a line if your not busy. God Bless You and Your Family. God Bless The United States. Your Fan, Rob and Robert Johnson

Moby, Congratulations on your new addition. You have a lot to be proud of. I listed to you on WKKW in Clarksburg, WV several years back when you were simulcast. You brought joy and laughter to the start of so many people’s days, it is just a matter of time before you are back doing what you love to do. May I ask one favor, when negotiating your next contract make sure that they will broadcast you show on the internet so that old friends can once again laugh in the morning. Best wishes, Mark

Moby, I had to experiment a little with morning radio today. I listend to Z93 from Atlanta Motor Speedway to the airport and heard a whopping 2 songs. The best part was the traffic report!! All the talk would be OK if Mara and all weren't so UNentertaining! They are like 45 year old adults trying to act like cool college kids in a sorority/fraternity. Pretty sad!. Can't wait till you can get back on the air. Hang in there!

Moby....Long time no e-mail...I tried to convert to Z-93 after you left 101.5 and it just wasn't the same. You didn't seem like your old self...but I understand. I e-amiled you after your and MB got married and said I would pray for you both and an addition to your new family...I see today it came true. I am so happy for you both. God Bless Jonah! He is on my prayers as well. I know you are so proud of the man he is growing to be. What are you doing now??? What station?? I have to admit I listen to Rhubarb since you got out of country...I really like Dallas. Let me know what the future holds...I 'll be faithful to ya as soon as I know where you land...I am the one who e-amiled you about you and my husband having the same birthdays and how similar youall are...Take CAre... Maire

Moby: Are you allowed to say what happened? I mean with Kicks and Z93. I know you say what you are thinking, especially when you believe in it. I have listened to you ever since you came to Atlanta. At first I couldn't handle the voice, but once I got used to you, I couldn't listen to anyone else. Now I miss your voice, and when I do get the chance to hear you do the traffic reports, you remind me of when my husband changed jobs, they stuck him in the smallest bay in the back of the dealership, I felt so sorry for him, but he showed all of them, and now he is the best thing another shop aquired. He fixes wrecked cars. I hope you do stay in Atlanta, but keep us up to date! Yea Baby! Kellie

Amazing Grace, how sweet the smile. I vote that y'll need to make plans for February 1 to bring the Angel to Houston to attend the Super Bowl. Louie Messina will be back in his own business of promoting concerts, maybe he needs you for a partner? (Hey, can't fault me for trying to get you back in town. Shoot, I'd even babysit for the Cutie.) When is Grace's b-day? I need to put that on the calendar. love ya.

Hey Moby!! Burned any fences lately?? Fenceman & Fenceboy, along with FenceMom miss you on Kicks. Let us know when you will be back. Debra Richards was back on for a few months while "Jill" was out birthing her baby. It was really nice to hear her again, but was rather lonely without you. We are proud grandparents now - 5 month old Lily Elizabeth. Your Gracie looks a lot like Lily, and we know that you are enjoying her around the clock. But being grandparents is the best, when Lily cries or gets cranky I can give her back to Mama!! Love & Miss you a lot. The Kellys - Fenceman family

Hello Moby, When the heck is Z93 going to start broadcasting over the internet like a lot of other stations, I remember listening to you in Dallas TX. years ago I forget how long it has been now since I've heard you. Please come online. If your station is unable to, please let me know why that is when other stations can.

Mary Beth and Moby- What a beauty Grace Marie is!!!! I know you two are so proud. Just hang in there on the traffic reporting.... Z93 doesn't know what they have lost... their loss, someone elses gain! Hopefully, you'll be back on radio here in Atlanta, but I know wherever you go, you will be loved like you are here! Yeah baby!

Hi, Moby. We're living in Houston now. Whenever I get back to Atlanta (about once a year) I always tune to Kicks to catch up on my ole buddy, Moby. Imagine my surprise and disappointment last month! We'd like to know where you're doing your traffic reports these days. Also, where you'll be next when you're at liberty to say. Selfishly, we hope Houston might once again be on your horizon. Now that we found you website, we'll check back from time to time. Congrats regarding Grace Marie. Our newest grandson, Mark, is about the same age, so we know what sweetness you must be experiencing these days. Best of luck! John & Joyce

Moby~ I started to say, "May God bless you and keep you!" However, I think He has already BLESSED you with such a cute bundle of joy! Those eyes will wrap you around her little finger in a heart beat! Go Jonah! I have heard you speak of him since he was a little feller! and now, he's a man! Take care Jonah! Hold your head high! You deserve it! I miss hearing you ALL THE TIME on the radio. Matter of fact, I dont hear you much at all anymore. I have gone from being a loyal listener to a "channel changer". Nothing suits me anymore. If its not music, Im changing stations. Hang in there Moby! You mentioned that something is in your future! I hope its here in HotLanta so that I can once again hear your voice! Mary Beth and Moby: May God bless and keep you as parents of a little one! They are such special little people. I look forward to reading and keeping up with Grace as I did with Jonah over the years. Best Wishes for a bright future! Aundrea Wilson Locust Grove, GA

Moby, just wanted to let you know how very much I've missed driving to work with you every morning. You made me laugh, cry, get angry - but through it all -I wouldn't have changed a thing. Glad your family life is going so well - and Grace is a beautiful baby. I know you and Mary Beth are very happy to have this wonderful addition to your family. I hope and pray that things will work out for you.

Hey Moby! I'm glad to see you're still around. We sure do miss you in the mornings! I saw the pictures of your new daughter and your beautiful family. God has truly blessed you with such a wonderful gift. You just hold on to your boot straps and keep your chin held high. Some people may not like you or your opinions....but alot of us do and that is what makes this country what it is......FREEDOM......to express your opinions, to live life as you see fit and to bring a bright spot to someone elses world. We're with you all the way!!!! All the best to you and your family. With much love from mine!!!
