Hey Moby, get that chip off your shoulder, your monotone traffic reports suck, you shoild rise above this and get on, you got handed some lemons, so start making some lemonade.
Moby - I am so happy for you and Mary Beth. Best of luck to you on this new venture in to parenthood. I do miss you. It is kind of obvious of your unhappiness when I hear you on the radio. But things happen for a reason. Just be happy for this new little girl and for Jonah and his new adventure.
So glad to hear about all the good news in your life. I think you are very wise for the direction you are taking with your career. The paycheck is still coming and the stress is alot less. I do miss your opinions and outspokeness and know when the time is right, there will be an avenue for it once again. You are one of the most caring people I have ever met. You also are one of the minority of people who really know what matters most in life and is not blinded by the world. Thank you for your continued updates on this web page as we really do still CARE about YOU.
Moby, I miss the morning drive time radio. It's not just the music that we listen to. You brought us into your life at Kick's and it's not the same anymore. Anyway, hope it all work's out for you here and you get back on the air. Best of luck to Jonah. God Bless.
Hi Moby - miss you. I agree with the other people that have commented. I cannot stand Mara on Z93 - I cannot believe they put her in the morning slot. The guys on 101.5 are pretty lame too. It is curious that they said you were too country, yet one of them (do not know which is which) sounds much more country that you ever did. Let us all know where you land when your contract is over. Til then, I will be listening to a CD in the morning.
So excited about Grace Marie!! Proud of Jonah too!! Do hear you doing the traffic report--from the sound of your voice, I know your heart isn't in it. But you enjoy that big money and laugh all the way to the bank!!!
Glad to see you are still around. I miss you in the morning either 101.5 or Z93. You had heart and you liked what you did. I miss the pledge from the kids and how you would build up there hopes. Sometime you would sing that that was different.Well i hope you get a new show soon atlanta needs a good hearted person on the air. Best wishes to you and yours YEAH BABY
Hi Moby, I was so thrilled to find your website. It's great to hear what you've been up to. Hope the lion bite is doing fine. It was a joy to hear about you and Mary Beth adopting a little girl. I was adopted myself. I know you will raise her with lots of love. Adoptive parents are very special people. I consider my adoptive parents my biological parents. I know you will raise her to feel the same way. I tell everyone that I am really special because I was picked and then delivered by the stork. That little girl will have you wrapped around that little finger of yours in no time at all. Trust me. I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl and my husband has 3 girls. My oldest son Jeffrey Huddleston says hello. He was the bat boy for your team at the Country Clash. We can't wait to hear you back on the radio. I don't listen to the new morning show on 101.5 in the mornings. It's not the same withour you. And those other guys stink!!!!! Let us know where you go. We will follow.
Hi Moby,
Hi Moby, I'm currently traveling and can not hear any radio in ATL, but the other morning on my way to the airport I was listening to Z93 and I thought to hear your voice as the traffic guy. Have to agree what a waste, also understand the you are on a gag order for the time being. I hope that a great town like ATL will not loose such a great radio personality but I am sure it is not easy to find a new employer in due time. Pls make sure that you will tell us where we can find you once your "contract" is over with Z93. Have to say the replacement of the "new crew" turns me away and I had to go back to 101.3 which has also a fairly terrible morning crew, but noticed that Deborah is back! Moby, my family and myself miss you on the radio and we wish you and your family all the best, pls keep me posted on your next move. Yours truly Daniel Lumpert PS: Don't know if you remember me, but last year on the Chilly Cook off in Stonemountain park, we met and we were talking about your German friend as I am Swiss and grew up only 40 miles from Munich/Germany.
MOBY HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE HIGHEST PAID TRAFFIC DUDE IN THE WORLD. IV'E EMAILED YOU A TIME OR TWO WITH MY OPINIONS ON DIFFERANT SUBJECTS AND JUST WANTED TO SAY HA. I HAVE TRIED TO LISTEN TO Z93 IN THE MORNING TO HERE YOUR TRAFFIC REPORT BUT FOR THE MOST PART I CAN'T DEAL WITH MARA AND THE OTHER GOOMER. I STILL LIKE ART AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TWO HOOK UP ON ANOTHER STATION.I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW THE REASON FOR Z93 DID WHAT THEY DID BUT I GUESS THATS NONE OF MY CONCERN. YOU SEEM TO BE SOMEWHAT LIKE ME. OVER MY 50 YEAR LIFE SPAN I HAVE STUCK MY FOOT IN IT,BUT I HAVE ALLWAYS BEEN ABLE TO HOSE IT OFF AND CARRY ON UNTIL NEXT TIME.MY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND WATCH OVER YOUR SON AND ALL OUR FOLKS OVER SEAS. ROCK ON BROTHER!!!!!!
Moby - I'm just so excited for you & Mary Beth, and for Grace Marie - my middle name was Marie and I'm adopted too. You will have changed her life forever! I know how difficult it will be to let Jonah go, but you have raised a fine young man! Everything else will work out in time.... there's a reason for everything eventually. Thanks for the update! YEAH BABY!
Hey Moby, I recently moved about an hour and a half from Atlanta and visit there often. I was ticked to find out your morning show is gone. I used to listen to you on the Eagle, KEGL, in Dallas. You are one awesome dj. You'll be a welcome addition to any station you go to next. I'll keep logging on. Good luck. Rich Bulger, Anderson,SC
Moby, I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the great job you and all the judges did @ the GMIA show last Thursday @ the Swallow. I am the drummer for Alisa McCance & RiverSage, and I would covet any feedback or advice you could send our way as we try get this performing act off the ground. We have been together for 2.5 months, and we are looking for quality representation for booking and/or management. Thanks again. Very Sincerely Rex S Erickson
To Atlanta Moby friends: If any of you would be interested in putting together a "luncheon" or something that we may be able to get Moby to visit with us, please feel free to email me so I can get some idea of whether or not there is any interest. There are so many of us, and I know we all would enjoy a chance to meet with the guy who has meant so much to us! Just a thought....
Just wondering how you are doing Moby. I do not listen to Kicks since you left. And I sure can not stand the scretching voice on Z93 now. I tried to listen to Z93 yesterday morning just to hear your voice on the traffic. But sorry my ears couldn't stand the strectching voice. My husband and I didn't like her at the noon hour and sure do not care for her now. So for now we either listen to no radio or just the oldies. I do hope you and your family are doing well. Please keep an update on your web page for this is the only way I can keep up with you.
Moby, life has given you some rough times. As you said,as a door closes...a window opens. "Everything happens for a reason." Its just a matter of time. Congrats on the baby daughter and Jonah! Sending positive energy your way.
Moby, hope things are going well for you. Miss your morning show. Hope to hear you on a radio show soon. How is the Lion bite coming along. Good luck with the adoption. The new baby could not get better parents than you and Mary Beth!
I remember when you where here in Dallas...you where great and your son was just a little guy...has it been that long? We never forgot you, and you have every right to be a proud papa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ps...did you remarry????????????? God Bless Ya
I was channel surfing this morning and heard Deborah Richard's voice back on KICKS. While it was good to hear her, I wondered why she was back - especially since you aren't there...
Was good to find your site again after hearing you on z93. Bet that bite hurt huh? Congratulations to johna and God bless him for wanting to protect this country he so dearly loves. Congrats on you and Mary Beth's adoption. You are a good father. You can tell that in your voice when you talk about your son. God bless you and hope that we hear you again soon.
Miss you in the mornings.....Please let us know where to find you. Cathy
Dear Moby, My congradulation on the adoption of a baby girl. I know we all look forward to seeing her pictures with the proud parents. I will keep Jonah in my daily prayers, along with all the other military serving our country. You must be very proud of him. God Bless You and Yours. Kat
I love listening to you. It does not matter what revenue or theme of the station, I will always listen if you are on the air.
moby why don't you keep your web page updated we would like to feel that you are still out their to start our morning.
mobey you are the best i have loved waking up to you the last few years!!
Moby, I knew right away that was you on the traffic. It has never sounded so good. And I can quickly tell when you're smiling and when you're not, even if you're just laughing at yourself. I'm really sorry about the way things worked out, but enjoy still hearing your voice, even a little bit. I hope you find more to smile about as time goes on. You're a true pro.
Even though they dont introduce you, there are those of us that would know that voice anywhere. It's a good thing to hear you there. Hope that life gives you all you desire. I'll pray for Jonah's safe return. Take care and God Bless you and yours.Pam.
Moby, Sorry to hear about your problems in Atlanta. The pics of that cat bite made MY arm hurt! Used to listen to you and Matthews religiously on 97 Rock in Houston. I've been keeping the Friday Hawaiian shirt day tradition alive since you left and my co-workers have gladly picked up the tradition. I even remember when Jonah was born and reading that he was heading into the Navy really gave me a jolt. How quickly they grow and how proud you must be of him. We'll definatly keep him in our thoughts and wish him calm seas and fair skies. I'm going to repeat several other entries here and ask that you give some consideration to heading back to H-Town. The radio personalities here are juvenile, unimaginative and just plain s@#%. Happy trails... YEAH BABY!
A great man isn't only defined by the heights he reaches, but also by his ability to get back on his feet.. I am not a fan, just someone who admires the hardships you have faced recently.

Moby - Congratulations to both you and Mary Beth on the adoption of your little girl. Just wait - you think Jonah found the spot in your heart - she'll captivate both of you for a lifetime! I know how proud you must be of Jonah. As a single mom for almost 15 years now, I know what those "little girls" can do to you. She is a lucky and blessed little girl to have both you and Mary Beth. Along the pathways of mine and my daughter's life -you were our morning "kick-start" - we both miss you dearly. I know that God doesn't close one door without opening another, so keep believing that there is something far better and more special waiting for you on the other side of that "threshold" - Please keep us posted and Moby - We love ya - "Peaches" - YEAH BABY!!!
Hey Hey Moby! Would love to have you back on any Houston radio station. We lost you once to Dallas and again to Ga so its time to come home now Moby! Jon doesn't talk much about the KSRR days, but I listen to him everyday still, and it sure would be fun to get you guys back in the same town. God bless you and yours Moby.
I have been turning the knob to z93 and I miss hearing your voice. What are you doing now.
Moby - My travels bring me to Atlanta quite often. Miss hearing you. More importantly, I'm in Houston where We all really miss you. Radio hasn't been the same since. I've listened to you since the "KSRR" days. Take care.
Miss hearing you as a DJ. Hope something comes up soon. Keep your head up.
I surely do miss you. I am so excited to read that you and Mary Beth are adopting a little girl. Linda Kaye would be a lovely name, don't you think? I know how proud of Jonah you are, and he will stay at the top of my prayer list. Sig's just disappointed he didn't join the Marines.... (you know how those Marines are). Wow, that lion really took a chunk out of your arm. There goes any notion I had of ever petting one. I hope you'll be 100% when healed. I know you'll let us all know when we can hear you on the radio again. I hope you'll be staying in Atlanta. Take care. Love, Linda
I loved your site. Congratulations Cheap Flights Airline Tickets
Thank you for this site and greetings from London! Cheap Flights Airline Tickets
Mr. Moby, oh how we miss you - please keep your web page updated - especially when Jonah puts on that uniform for the first time. Take care and God Bless you!
What happened to you, one day you just weren't there anymore? Was this lion bite the reason? Are you doing the traffic on Z93 now?
Moby, I do miss listening to you in the morning. I listened to you in Texas and then when I started to listen to Country music there you were in Georgia. Now I just flip through the stations. But I really did want to wish you the best. Things will work out for you. I hope to hear your show again.
Moby I was a listener when you were syndicated on stations in West Virginia- how I missed you when that stopped. Now everyonce in a while i check your site. This time I realize its been so long, I can't believe your son is old enough to join the service. I wish you luck and him good health. I want you to know to this day I remember lots of what you believe and I agreed with. Good Luck with your new daughter!!! Thanks.
Hi Guy, I tune into Z just long enough to here you do the traffic the I go back to my new country station South 107. I refuse to listen to Kicks and I can only take so much or Mara in the Morning....WHAT were they thinking. We miss you on the air waves. Hang in there and give us a new update with a letter from we are all waiting to hear how our Moby & family is doing. Hope the plans for the adoption are going well and the bite is better. Take care of you and yours,Brenda
I miss you and hope to hear you on the radio soon. Where are you?
Moby,I hope you will stay in the Atlanta area. Something good is coming your way. When a door gets shut God always opens a window, look for it. About this little girl, she is one of the luckest little girls on earth. I know you and Marybeth will be great parents! A little one will help keep you young. I miss you and hope you will be back on the air with your show somewhere soon. I hope your website will stay up so we can keep up with you. Mornings have not been the same without you. Send the new guys on 101.5 back where they came from. They are just stupid. We want YOU back!
Z needs to take Mara off the morning show and put you back on. At least you never told the listeners to kiss your butt. She is so unprofessional and I hope they get rid of her. You're the best!!!!
Moby, I have been with you since the beginning of time. I remember after your divorce, you used to call Jonah in the morning and get him ready for school. Now he is going into the Navy. (I am getting old) I truly believe that doors are closed for a reason, and the one that is going to open for you will be a blessing. Something extra special is in your future. I will keep your family in my prayers, best wishes for the future, thanks very much for the past.
I followed you from Texas to Georgia. I got my first country music experience with you broadcasting on 101.5. I was happy when you made the change to Z 93. Now I am very Pissed that you are gone. What is wrong with these people. What is the next stop for you? I ijust adopted 2 children and the experience in truly wonderful. Good luck. Long time listener.
Moby, It takes a lot of guts and it had to be a real kick in the ego to go back and do traffic for the station that canned your show. I hope that someone lets you play music soon. I like the music you played on your show and I thought you were excellent with the people that phoned in and those that visited. Hang in there. You are missed!!
Moby, I lived in the Atlanta area for many years. I was so disapointed not to hear you when I came through town the other day. I live in Charlotte, NC now. Good Luck! I look forward to hearing you on the air again!
HOWDY PARTNER REMEMBER ME I LOVE THAT SONG THE ONE ABOUT BOMBING IRAQ THE ONE ROCKS YEAH BABY!
Congratution on the new baby girl I hope everything will go well for you and your family tell Jonah we are very proud of him, we have been with you from day one and I've missed hearing you. Hope your arm is doing been.Take care and God Bless You and Your Family. Hurry up and get back on the air, I know why don't you and Jim and Jill and Debra start your on station. I miss you
Hey Moby, What's up? Heard you got screwed by the radio business again. COME HOME TO HOUSTON!!! We miss you. Take care keep your head up, things will work out for ya' DJ Mike T, an ole friend from Santa Fe (Tx) Police Dept. (remember mug shots)
Moby, I'm a fan from your country days on 101.5 I flipped to z-93 during the morning, but it was hard to get into the music, I'm more county/Christian music these days. I think 101.5 made a mistake removing you, and the new morning show is painful to listen to. I still enjoy Jim Vann and Jill Kelly (or Deborah Richards, good to have her back), but "bundy and bammie", or whoever, just don't seem right. Anyways, keep your head high, Ga still loves ya, and I hope to hear you back where you belong soon.
Hello Moby and Mary Beth, Hope all is well with all of you. Miss hearing you on the radio. Wish you were back on a Country Station where people are genuine and not fake and flakey like the other stations. Please keep us posted on your whereabouts and post pictures of your new baby girl on you website. She will definitely change your life. We miss you bunches
Yea baby!!! Want to come to July 4 barbeque if so let me know!!!! Yea Baby!!!!!!
MISS HEARING YOU!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH NEW BABY! GOOD LUCK TO JONAH! WE NEEEEEEEDDDDDD YOU BACK ON THE AIR!
MISS HEARING YOU!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH NEW BABY! GOOD LUCK TO JONAH! WE NEEEEEEEDDDDDD YOU BACK ON THE AIR!
Moby: I sure do miss you in the morning, you always managed to start my day off right. Your song "I Choose To Believe" is still my favorite and every time I play it, I think of you. I wish you and your family the best and hope that you will be able to stay around for a long time, we need you and not two idiots who think they are funny and laugh what sounds canned over nothing. You were and will always be "THE BEST" One of your biggest fans, Hester Horton
HEY MOBY, MISS YOU FULL TIME IN THE MORNINGS...HANG IN THERE AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE LITTLE GIRL....
where are you now? what happened to z93?
Howdy partner.
HURRY BACK
I remember about 4 yrs ago when I was just getting into country music at the time and someone who I was dating suggested that I listed to your morning show on Kicks. I started listening to Moby in the Morning and was hooked ever since. Your voice and train of thought is VERY familiar to my fathers and even though he is half way across the country, I feel as if he is sitting in the drivers seat beside me(weird stuff indeed). I followed you over to Z-93 from Country. I still miss hearing your voice on Kicks since their current show isn't the best either. I would love to see you back on Kicks again doing mornings. Oh yea, if you haven't noticed, Jill Kelly is our on maternity leave and Debora Richards is filling in ! ! I smell a reunion with Moby, Deborah and Jim ! !

Please come back to country radio!
Moby, I miss hearing you on country radio! Please, come back! God Bless Jonah as he joins our military!
We miss you MOBY!! Hope you are on a morning show in Atlanta soon. You made my mornings for years and we your fans are grateful for those great times and hope there are many more around the corner. Hope you are doing well and think it is great about the adoption. GOD Bless. Tim Bailey.
Hey Moby, Just wanted to say we miss you on the Morning Show.
Moby, Congrats on the baby girl. I have all boys but hope she brings you lots of joy. Over the years I have raised my sons while listening to your stories of Jonah. We are all very proud of him. Your caring heart helped me through lots of painful personal times. Let me know when you host another morning show. I've followed you from Kicks to Z93 and don't care for either morning show since you've left. Hearing you do traffic just isn't quite the same and not nearly as much fun. I know you'll be a wonderful father for your new daughter and I wish the best to all of you. I share your pride in your son and his service to his country. I've listened to you ever since you came to Atlanta and will listen to you do the news, but then I switch channels as the new Z93 morning show just doesn't do it for me anymore. Take care and know that the prayers of my entire family are with you and yours. We Miss You!!!!
I am 41 years old and I used to listen to you when I was a teenager in Houston when you with Mathews. I loved you then and have missed you over the years you have been gone from here. I remember lots of things you did like the song you did "I'm you mailman". FUNNY AS HELL!! I just happened to do a search online for Moby in the Morning and I couldn't believe it. You were here!! Wish I could listen to you on the air again!! What ever happened to Mathews? I loved how he thought everything you did was wrong, vulger, gross, etc. If I remember correctly, your real name is James Carney and I remember your birthday because it is the same as mine, December 9th. Correct me if I'm wrong. Would love to hear back from you. Please email me.
Moby, All I can say is that we miss you man! I know things change in life...sometimes for the better and sometimes not, but Atlanta "Country" radio isn't the same without "Moby in the Morning" Yeah Baby Chad Earnest
Moby, We had the privilege of conversing with you and your wife at Chicago's [Restaurant] about a month ago. We are also patients of the best dentist in Kennesaw. Heard through Dr. H about the encounter with the lioness, but glad you are now on the mend. Congratulations on the new member of your family. Oh, and, of course, we love your website.
My friends and I miss you greatly! Be sure to let us know where we can hear some of that beautiful gospel music. Barbara
Moby, I am so glad to hear you voice again, but it is not the same. That "NEW Z93" morning show SUCKS!!!! You are the only bright spot on it. I can't wait until you once again are the KING OF THE ATLANTA MORNING AIRWAVES!!! Congradulation to you and MaryBeth on adopting a baby girl, I have a son and a daughter. Believe me when I say if you think Jonah had your heart, you will not believe what a daughter will do to her daddy's heart. I see it when I am with my father (still and I am 32) and I see it with my husband and my daughter. Again, I miss you in the mornings. It seems that my mornings are not a bright and cheery without you. Love Trina Quarles A LOYAL listener since the beginning of Moby in Atl.

What happened to McKenzie? I miss you! When I heard you were going to be on Z93 and I enjoyed hearing you then all of a sudden you were gone! Hope you will be back soon! You are MISSED!
Hi Guy, Got into country music by listening to you for so many years. I would switch back and forth on 93 just to listen to you but not the music. In my humble opinion, your true talent shines best in the country format. Every morning on Kicks, you made a huge difference in a lot of people's lives. You were compassionate to your loyal listeners when you needed to be and passionate about our country because you had to be. Both are outstanding qualities and a great formula for success. Hang in there. Your audience awaits your return. We truly miss your contributions to the Atlanta morning time. God bless.
Moby, just checked out the new ratings and see the new z-93 has fallen off since you left....what idiots!!!
Z 93 must be crazy to have you doing traffic while those other two try to handle a morning show - something in my opinion they don't do very well. I will keep checking in with this site, to see when you will be on the air again with your own show but as far as listening to Mara and Dunham - no way.
MISS YOU
I am one of you listening fans. Love to hear you in the mornings. I came to Atlanta in '92 and started listening to you on Kicks 101 in '93. I'm also a fan of Z93 and was thrilled when they put you on the morning show. Really missing your sense of reality and music. It ain't the same in the mornings. Now I watch Rick and Bubba in the mornings on TNT just so I can get my dose of humor and reality checks. Hurry back man!
Moby, just wanted to tell you and Mary Beth congradulations on the baby. This is wonderful. If you will think back a few months, you had a physic tell you that she saw a daughter in your life and you told her that it must be the twins that Mary Beth's sister was having. Well I guess that she was right on this one. I hope you and Mary Beth and the new baby have a wonderful time together. We miss you on the air and I think that some folks need their heads looked at to take you off the air. The ratings went up after you started and I bet that they have dropped since you have been off. We miss you and hope that you get back on air where you belong soon. We love you big guy.
this is not for you or us!!There is nothing wrong with opinionated people in the GREAT U.S. OF A. Freedom of speech is the right of the American People. I have very seldom agreed with your opinion but it is yours and as an American you have the right to express it!!!!Waste as little time on Z93 as possible!Hopefully something better is around the corner!!!I wrote to you that God only gives us what we can handle, BELIEVE THAT!!!!
it breaks my heart to hear what has happened to you with your career with these two radio stations. it is a terrible thing that is happening. but don't let it break your spirit. you are a great human being. you are missed greatly please take care. tell jonah godspeed ahead and congratulations to you and mary beth on your baby girl. take care love ya. yea baby!!!!
Hi Moby, Mary Beth and Jonah, I sure do miss hearing your voice on the radio. Glad you are doing okay, and are adopting a baby girl. Can't believe Jonah is old enough to join the Navy. Send him my love, and give him my best wishes. Keep us updated on the new baby. Miss hearing those wonderful sayings, Yeah Baby and Good Morning Peaches. Hope to hear these words, and you on another decent country station in the Atlanta area in the real near future. Miss seeing you at your appearances around Clayton County. Keep the faith, your chin up, and all will go well for you and your wonderful family. Jonah has a wonderful father to look up to, Mary Beth has a wonderful husband, and the new baby will be just as blessed. You are a great person and did so much for so many benefits, and all of the support you gave to the police officers and fire fighters is greatly appreciated by everyone. Keep us posted on the baby, Jonah, Mary Beth and yourself. I miss you, and so do all of your fans. Love Ya, Mary Little Bear, Your Greatest Fan Remember the cake?
Well, I guess I missed the statement you made that got you off the air. WHAT WAS IT???? If those two idiots out of California (Lex and Terry) can say some of the stuff they say and get away with it, what the heck did you say????? I quit listening to the "New" Z93. If I wanted to listen to that type of rock, I'd listen to 96 Rock!!! I am disappointed in the programming and am truly disappointed in the radio personalities who are currently there in the morning. Please let us know where you go. I followed your morning show from country to rock. I enjoyed both. If the programming had any sense, they'd put you back on with a raise!!!!
Moby - We miss you. Its just not the same without out you hosting the show. I can't help but wonder if its not the "A.I." stuff that got you in hot water. I'm proud of you for standing up for what you believe and know to be true. That is the one thing I have always seen from you -- Do the RIGHT thing - even if the consequences were tough. Congrats on the baby! Proud of Jonah! Lucky family to have a man like you.
Moby when will you be back on a Country Station we can get in Atlanta. Being a former Marine aand a Retired Police Officer I support you 1000% Yeah Baby
'Miss you in the morning on Z-93!! 'Saw the pictures of the lion bite, it must have been very painful - 'hope it's healing OK.
I truely miss you on Kicks... I loved listening to you in the morning. I remember when you came to Atlanta and loved you from the get go. Please us know where you go, hopefully country. Congratulations on the Baby Girl.
That will be one lucky baby girl to have you and Mary-Beth as parents. You did such a wonderful job with Jonah. You have so much love to give and you really take the responsibility of being a parent so seriously that we need more children raised by such people as yourself. You are a wonderful person, Moby. I miss hearing all your stories. Thank you for keeping us updated through your web page because we love you.
Darn sorry to hear of Moby's trouble. I listened to Moby for years on KICKS, and in he is the best. Hang in there Moby!
Don't give up Moby-You will be back on the radio in full force soon. I miss your morning show but at least I can hear you on the traffic. I listened to Z-93 since 1974 and stopped when the Greaseman came on and move to Kicks. I moved to a Christian station then went back to Z-93 when you moved there. Keep us informed where you go. What you really need is an Atlanta radio station that has a variety of music-Country-Rock for people that like it all. For people that won't settle for the "Same old Stuff. I pray someone invents a station like that. You tell it like it is-you aren't affraid to dicuss God or anything else-I like that. God Bless you Moby-you ae in my prayers Tammy
MOBY, I've been with you since you came to ATL.I remember all those Moby signs everywhere. YOU brought so much to this town all these years. Tell Z----93 to take that job and shove it.I can't stand kicks now. I never thought I'd be listening to SWEET POTATO, but I have no choice. FIND SOMETHING MOBY PLEASSSEEE soon so we all can get back to normal.
Don't know what happened, just know the BEST is not on the air now. MISS YA!
I didn't like you as a rock'n'roll deejay. I thought you were great on the country station but i hate mainstream (assembly line music) country music now. That being said, I think that it is a terrible thing that z93 has done in releasing your show, but hell, just add it to the long list of mistakes they have made for twenty years. to be perfectly honest, they have not had a good morning show since the greaseman show or before except for a couple of guys called Ross & Wilson in the early eighties. The guy before you sucked, except for a couple of things that he did, that i doubt were his own ideas. I listened because of Art & Monte. Replacing you with Mara Davis is a train wreck. "The New z93" is a desperately rearranged load of bullshit. they need to completely re-tool their format, change their format or go home and get a biscuit and flush z93 down the toilet that it is alrady in.
i,m glad you will still be on the radio even if its not playing music i want you to know wherever you end up at let me know my family and i are behind you all the way also when you and marybeth get the baby girl please post pictures of her wish jonah all the luck and gods speed in the navy
MY MORNING DRIVE IS JUST NOT THE SAME WITHOUT YOU!I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A COUNTRY FAN AND SPENT EVERY MORNING WITH YOU FOR 9+ YEARS. WHEN YOU LEFT I EVEN WROTE THE STATION, GOT A NICE FORM LETTER BACK...SO TO ROCK I WENT BACK AND FORTH TO HEAR YOUR VOICE,STORIES ETC. NEVER COULD STAY FOR THE MUSIC THOUGH. MISS YOU EVEN MORE THEN EVER. I WORK IN A DOWNTOWN HOSPITAL IN SICU, SO I REALLY DO THINK YOUR LION BITE IS MINOR...BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND YOURS. MAY THE NEXT DOOR THAT OPENS BE JUST AS WONDEROUS AS THE ONE THAT CLOSES BEHIND YOU
Congratulation's to you and Mary Beth on your decision to become parent's of a baby girl. That is one lucky baby. Also I want to thank Jonah for his dedication to our great country. He will be in my thoughts and prayer's. I sure miss you on the radio and hope you are back real soon(in Atlanta).
Glad to hear you will remain with us at any level. Best wishes to you & Marybeth on your adoption. As my husband says about me...you can take the girl out the country but you can't take the country out the girl...GOOD LUCK

Dear Moby and Mary Beth, CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are "tickled pink" to hear of your wonderful news. We both miss you on the morning show as a DJ, but at least you are still a part of our morning routine on Z93 as the traffic guy. We have enjoyed you for the last 5 years on both of your morning shows (Z93 was better-better music and great sidekick). You have been in our prayers ever since you announced Johna was joining the Navy. We can only imagine how proud you and Mary Beth must be of him. Apparently you have done some really great parenting over the years to have such an uncommonly responsible, level-headed and all around great young man on your hands. The lion bite has also been a subject of several conversations with The Maker. So glad to hear you are healing well. Hope that all goes well with the adoption and that things just keep getting better for both you and Mary Beth. Just a couple of dedicated listeners, Rob and Maija Miller-Lawrenceville
Hey Mister Moby, what happened to my last comments about missing you on that rock station. (i dont even want to say their name out loud). i sent feedback to them, they werent nice in their response. love ya, see ya. yeah baby

Yeah Baby!!!!!!!!!
Have not heard you on Z93 yet. Have you started?
My prayers are with you and your family. Jonah is a proud American just like his father, that you can be thankful for. God Bless America!
God Bless you and your family Mr. Moby. You have brought me years of enjoyment and you have gotten me over some sad times. Thanks, Linda
Finally got to check out your sight, and I think it's great, all of it. I tthink I went to boot in Aug. myself. Loved the Bombing Iraq. Just a reminder that you mentioned that you would send info about the Scottsman Song, I miss hearing that on Fri. mornings. Hope everything works out for you, Jonah and your wife, Mary Beth. Hope to see ya soon back at the gun store. GOD Bless, David
I miss you on Z93 so much. I never heard you on the other station because mostly I'm a rock & roller. Traffic? You've got to be kidding. I hate Mara and what's his name. They are so silly, and I MISS MY SOUTHERN AT SEVEN!!! Wish you well, miss you much........
Woah, your arm really got slashed. Glad you are recovering well. Yea, large animals are nothing to take lightly. Had a friend who owned one, and one day it "pounced" on him trying to play. Broke his back. Hate it that you are not on the morning show, but I am sure doors upon doors will open for you. I love your radio show and the Scottsman song. For over a decade now, I have been waking up with you on the radio. Really going to miss it. Best Wishes for you and your family. Kim
I thought I heard you this morning doing traffic, miss the madness of your show. Mike Bennett Cobb Fire
I, like so many of your other fans, moved to Z93 just to hear you and your wonderfully candid comments. When I came back from vacation at Spring Break, switched to Z93 for my morning commute, and heard Mara my hear fell. Glad to hear that you will at least be on the air some during the mornings. I will switch back for the time being. Keep being yourself - and best of luck with the new baby girl. Prayers and thanks to Jonah for his committment to our country. Thanks to you and your ex, Kelly, for bringing up such a fine young man.
Moby, Yeah Baby...traffic is not quite the same as the drivers seat but it is WONDERFUL to hear your voice again in any capacity. It seems as though you are on the right path. The baby girl sounds fantastic and I know you and Mary Beth will be great parents for her. Jonah is going in on my birthday and that has to be good. Keep hanging in there and I'm very happy that 'Z' is hanging with you. GOD BLESS & TAKE CARE, Brenda
Hey, MOBY, I couldn't believe my ears this morning. I heard a familiar voice doing a commercial. Then that same voice was giving traffic updates! It's so good to hear you again. Mara was ok at lunch, but I don't care for her and Dunham during my morning ride. Hang in there and please don't leave Atlanta. Love Ya.
Moby,I'm just an ol' Viet-Nam vet who needs someone like you to listen to.I respect you and feel you do us.I Meet you last year at Wade Ford along with Rusty Wallace,MADE MY DAY.Hope to hear you on any station very soon.A true MOBY fan ,Don Cloud
Moby, I loved listening to you on 101.5, moved to Z93 when I heard you were there, and now I feel cheated because you are no longer doing the morning show. I truly miss listening to you. It is not very often you come across someone with convictions who is strong enough to voice them regardless of the "politically correct" ramifications. To have someone do it in front of hundreds of people everyday is an inspiration. Hurry up and get on the air somewhere we can hear you everyday!!! I am happy to hear you are adopting a little girl. Being a parent myself, I know there is no other feeling in this world than the love between parent and child. It will be nice if we get to hear about this little girl growing up and her accomplishments like we did with Jonah. Good Luck to you and your family!!! Syletia Bremen GA
With the woes that you had at Kick's and the woes you had at Z93, life threw you a few "lemons" it seems.... but let me tell you from my adoption experience, that little girl will be the sweetest "lemonade" you've ever had!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for maintaining this site, and for sharing so much with us! Your "family" here is behind you and that will never change! All you Moby fans - tell your friends to come here and let everyone know how special he is and how much he means to us and to the community! Let our voices be heard!
Moby: Sure have missed you. I started listening to Z93 when co-worker told me they heard your voice. I am a country music fan thru and thru, but 80's music is good to listen to as well. Good luck with the new daughter and hope Jonah will be safe in his ventures. Hope to hear more of you soon! Kellie--Cartersville, GA
GOOD LUCK IN WHATEVER YOU DO! RADIO WITHOUT YOU IS NOT GOOD. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU GET BACK ON THE AIR IN ATLANTA AND HAVE THE FREEDOM TO BE YOU. CAUSE'YOU IS WHAT WE NEED. LINDA STONE MTN GA
I was right! I couldn't believe my ears this morning --- yeah, Moby's back - even if it is just the traffic report (which, by the way, is the most important part of my morning attention!) - so glad all is looking up for you. Congratulations on your adoption and best of luck to Jonah. Take care!
Hi Moby, It'll be good to hear your voice again, even if it's for a few minutes at a time in the morning. I started listening to Z-93 because of you and stopped immediately after you left. Since I can't find any morning personalities that I like anymore here in Atlanta, I've actually been listening to Peach 94.9 just to hear music that I grew up with! Also, congratulations on the future new addition to your family. I'm so excited for you and MaryBeth. Prayers and thoughts are with Jonah. Thank you for keeping your fans updated!! God bless! Peace, Love, and Light, -Lynn
Please get those Yankees off z-93 and give us Moby back. It makes me sick that we don't have a Southern disc jockey. Miss you Mr. Moby. From someone that has lived here all my life.
Please let us know when you will be back on the air the only reason I started listening to Z93 was because you were on there. I have reverted back to your old station because there is no need to listen to Z93 in the morning.
Mr Moby, We have never met, but your show in the mornings and sincerity and heart felt style was the reason I listened to you every morning,,,,,whether needing to be up or not. (LOL) No matter where you go I know God has special things for you to do and people to entertain, I just pray it is in Atlanta so you can continue to be a part of our lives. Sincerely Allen Coefield www.peachphoto.com
