Moby - I am so happy for you and Mary Beth. Best of luck to you on this new venture in to parenthood. I do miss you. It is kind of obvious of your unhappiness when I hear you on the radio. But things happen for a reason. Just be happy for this new little girl and for Jonah and his new adventure.

So glad to hear about all the good news in your life. I think you are very wise for the direction you are taking with your career. The paycheck is still coming and the stress is alot less. I do miss your opinions and outspokeness and know when the time is right, there will be an avenue for it once again. You are one of the most caring people I have ever met. You also are one of the minority of people who really know what matters most in life and is not blinded by the world. Thank you for your continued updates on this web page as we really do still CARE about YOU.

Moby, I miss the morning drive time radio. It's not just the music that we listen to. You brought us into your life at Kick's and it's not the same anymore. Anyway, hope it all work's out for you here and you get back on the air. Best of luck to Jonah. God Bless.

Hi Moby - miss you. I agree with the other people that have commented. I cannot stand Mara on Z93 - I cannot believe they put her in the morning slot. The guys on 101.5 are pretty lame too. It is curious that they said you were too country, yet one of them (do not know which is which) sounds much more country that you ever did. Let us all know where you land when your contract is over. Til then, I will be listening to a CD in the morning.

Hi Moby, I was so thrilled to find your website. It's great to hear what you've been up to. Hope the lion bite is doing fine. It was a joy to hear about you and Mary Beth adopting a little girl. I was adopted myself. I know you will raise her with lots of love. Adoptive parents are very special people. I consider my adoptive parents my biological parents. I know you will raise her to feel the same way. I tell everyone that I am really special because I was picked and then delivered by the stork. That little girl will have you wrapped around that little finger of yours in no time at all. Trust me. I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl and my husband has 3 girls. My oldest son Jeffrey Huddleston says hello. He was the bat boy for your team at the Country Clash. We can't wait to hear you back on the radio. I don't listen to the new morning show on 101.5 in the mornings. It's not the same withour you. And those other guys stink!!!!! Let us know where you go. We will follow.

Hi Moby, I'm currently traveling and can not hear any radio in ATL, but the other morning on my way to the airport I was listening to Z93 and I thought to hear your voice as the traffic guy. Have to agree what a waste, also understand the you are on a gag order for the time being. I hope that a great town like ATL will not loose such a great radio personality but I am sure it is not easy to find a new employer in due time. Pls make sure that you will tell us where we can find you once your "contract" is over with Z93. Have to say the replacement of the "new crew" turns me away and I had to go back to 101.3 which has also a fairly terrible morning crew, but noticed that Deborah is back! Moby, my family and myself miss you on the radio and we wish you and your family all the best, pls keep me posted on your next move. Yours truly Daniel Lumpert PS: Don't know if you remember me, but last year on the Chilly Cook off in Stonemountain park, we met and we were talking about your German friend as I am Swiss and grew up only 40 miles from Munich/Germany.

MOBY HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE HIGHEST PAID TRAFFIC DUDE IN THE WORLD. IV'E EMAILED YOU A TIME OR TWO WITH MY OPINIONS ON DIFFERANT SUBJECTS AND JUST WANTED TO SAY HA. I HAVE TRIED TO LISTEN TO Z93 IN THE MORNING TO HERE YOUR TRAFFIC REPORT BUT FOR THE MOST PART I CAN'T DEAL WITH MARA AND THE OTHER GOOMER. I STILL LIKE ART AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TWO HOOK UP ON ANOTHER STATION.I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW THE REASON FOR Z93 DID WHAT THEY DID BUT I GUESS THATS NONE OF MY CONCERN. YOU SEEM TO BE SOMEWHAT LIKE ME. OVER MY 50 YEAR LIFE SPAN I HAVE STUCK MY FOOT IN IT,BUT I HAVE ALLWAYS BEEN ABLE TO HOSE IT OFF AND CARRY ON UNTIL NEXT TIME.MY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND WATCH OVER YOUR SON AND ALL OUR FOLKS OVER SEAS. I know how difficult it will be to let Jonah go, but you have raised a fine young man! Everything else will work out in time.... there's a reason for everything eventually. Thanks for the update! To Atlanta Moby friends: If any of you would be interested in putting together a "luncheon" or something that we may be able to get Moby to visit with us, please feel free to email me so I can get some idea of whether or not there is any interest. There are so many of us, and I know we all would enjoy a chance to meet with the guy who has meant so much to us! Just a thought....

Just wondering how you are doing Moby. I do not listen to Kicks since you left. And I sure can not stand the scretching voice on Z93 now. I tried to listen to Z93 yesterday morning just to hear your voice on the traffic. But sorry my ears couldn't stand the strectching voice. My husband and I didn't like her at the noon hour and sure do not care for her now. So for now we either listen to no radio or just the oldies. I do hope you and your family are doing well. Please keep an update on your web page for this is the only way I can keep up with you.

Moby, Sorry to hear about your problems in Atlanta. The pics of that cat bite made MY arm hurt! Used to listen to you and Matthews religiously on 97 Rock in Houston. I've been keeping the Friday Hawaiian shirt day tradition alive since you left and my co-workers have gladly picked up the tradition. I even remember when Jonah was born and reading that he was heading into the Navy really gave me a jolt. How quickly they grow and how proud you must be of him. We'll definatly keep him in our thoughts and wish him calm seas and fair skies. I'm going to repeat several other entries here and ask that you give some consideration to heading back to H-Town. The radio personalities here are juvenile, unimaginative and just plain s@#%. Happy trails... YEAH BABY!

Moby - Congratulations to both you and Mary Beth on the adoption of your little girl. Just wait - you think Jonah found the spot in your heart - she'll captivate both of you for a lifetime! I know how proud you must be of Jonah. As a single mom for almost 15 years now, I know what those "little girls" can do to you. She is a lucky and blessed little girl to have both you and Mary Beth. Along the pathways of mine and my daughter's life -you were our morning "kick-start" - we both miss you dearly. I know that God doesn't close one door without opening another, so keep believing that there is something far better and more special waiting for you on the other side of that "threshold" - Please keep us posted and Moby - We love ya - "Peaches" - YEAH BABY!!!

I know how proud of Jonah you are, and he will stay at the top of my prayer list. Sig's just disappointed he didn't join the Marines.... (you know how those Marines are). Wow, that lion really took a chunk out of your arm. There goes any notion I had of ever petting one. I hope you'll be 100% when healed. I know you'll let us all know when we can hear you on the radio again. I hope you'll be staying in Atlanta. Take care. Love, Linda

Moby, I'm a fan from your country days on 101.5 I flipped to z-93 during the morning, but it was hard to get into the music, I'm more county/Christian music these days. I think 101.5 made a mistake removing you, and the new morning show is painful to listen to. I still enjoy Jim Vann and Jill Kelly (or Deborah Richards, good to have her back), but "bundy and bammie", or whoever, just don't seem right. Anyways, keep your head high, Ga still loves ya, and I hope to hear you back where you belong soon.

I remember about 4 yrs ago when I was just getting into country music at the time and someone who I was dating suggested that I listed to your morning show on Kicks. I started listening to Moby in the Morning and was hooked ever since. Your voice and train of thought is VERY familiar to my fathers and even though he is half way across the country, I feel as if he is sitting in the drivers seat beside me(weird stuff indeed). I followed you over to Z-93 from Country. I still miss hearing your voice on Kicks since their current show isn't the best either. I would love to see you back on Kicks again doing mornings. Oh yea, if you haven't noticed, Jill Kelly is our on maternity leave and Debora Richards is filling in ! ! I smell a reunion with Moby, Deborah and Jim ! !

Moby, Congrats on the baby girl. I have all boys but hope she brings you lots of joy. Over the years I have raised my sons while listening to your stories of Jonah. We are all very proud of him. Your caring heart helped me through lots of painful personal times. Let me know when you host another morning show. I've followed you from Kicks to Z93 and don't care for either morning show since you've left. Hearing you do traffic just isn't quite the same and not nearly as much fun. I know you'll be a wonderful father for your new daughter and I wish the best to all of you. I share your pride in your son and his service to his country. I've listened to you ever since you came to Atlanta and will listen to you do the news, but then I switch channels as the new Z93 morning show just doesn't do it for me anymore. Take care and know that the prayers of my entire family are with you and yours. We Miss You!!!!

I am 41 years old and I used to listen to you when I was a teenager in Houston when you with Mathews. I loved you then and have missed you over the years you have been gone from here. I remember lots of things you did like the song you did "I'm you mailman". FUNNY AS HELL!! I just happened to do a search online for Moby in the Morning and I couldn't believe it. You were here!! Wish I could listen to you on the air again!! What ever happened to Mathews? I loved how he thought everything you did was wrong, vulger, gross, etc. If I remember correctly, your real name is James Carney and I remember your birthday because it is the same as mine, December 9th. Correct me if I'm wrong. Would love to hear back from you. Please email me.

Moby, We had the privilege of conversing with you and your wife at Chicago's [Restaurant] about a month ago. We are also patients of the best dentist in Kennesaw. Heard through Dr. H about the encounter with the lioness, but glad you are now on the mend. Congratulations on the new member of your family. Oh, and, of course, we love your website.

Moby, I am so glad to hear you voice again, but it is not the same. That "NEW Z93" morning show SUCKS!!!! You are the only bright spot on it. I can't wait until you once again are the KING OF THE ATLANTA MORNING AIRWAVES!!! Congradulation to you and MaryBeth on adopting a baby girl, I have a son and a daughter. Believe me when I say if you think Jonah had your heart, you will not believe what a daughter will do to her daddy's heart. I see it when I am with my father (still and I am 32) and I see it with my husband and my daughter. Again, I miss you in the mornings. It seems that my mornings are not a bright and cheery without you. Love Trina Quarles A LOYAL listener since the beginning of Moby in Atl.

Hi Guy, Got into country music by listening to you for so many years. I would switch back and forth on 93 just to listen to you but not the music. In my humble opinion, your true talent shines best in the country format. Every morning on Kicks, you made a huge difference in a lot of people's lives. You were compassionate to your loyal listeners when you needed to be and passionate about our country because you had to be. Both are outstanding qualities and a great formula for success. Hang in there. Your audience awaits your return. We truly miss your contributions to the Atlanta morning time. God bless.

Z 93 must be crazy to have you doing traffic while those other two try to handle a morning show - something in my opinion they don't do very well. I will keep checking in with this site, to see when you will be on the air again with your own show but as far as listening to Mara and Dunham - no way.

I'm also a fan of Z93 and was thrilled when they put you on the morning show. Really missing your sense of reality and music. It ain't the same in the mornings. Now I watch Rick and Bubba in the mornings on TNT just so I can get my dose of humor and reality checks. Hurry back man!

Moby, just wanted to tell you and Mary Beth congradulations on the baby. This is wonderful. If you will think back a few months, you had a physic tell you that she saw a daughter in your life and you told her that it must be the twins that Mary Beth's sister was having. Well I guess that she was right on this one. I hope you and Mary Beth and the new baby have a wonderful time together. We miss you on the air and I think that some folks need their heads looked at to take you off the air. The ratings went up after you started and I bet that they have dropped since you have been off. We miss you and hope that you get back on air where you belong soon. We love you big guy.

Hi Moby, Mary Beth and Jonah, I sure do miss hearing your voice on the radio. Glad you are doing okay, and are adopting a baby girl. Can't believe Jonah is old enough to join the Navy. Send him my love, and give him my best wishes. Keep us updated on the new baby. Miss hearing those wonderful sayings, Yeah Baby and Good Morning Peaches. Hope to hear these words, and you on another decent country station in the Atlanta area in the real near future. Miss seeing you at your appearances around Clayton County. Keep the faith, your chin up, and all will go well for you and your wonderful family. Jonah has a wonderful father to look up to, Mary Beth has a wonderful husband, and the new baby will be just as blessed. You are a great person and did so much for so many benefits, and all of the support you gave to the police officers and fire fighters is greatly appreciated by everyone. Keep us posted on the baby, Jonah, Mary Beth and yourself. I miss you, and so do all of your fans. Love Ya, Mary Little Bear, Your Greatest Fan Remember the cake?

Well, I guess I missed the statement you made that got you off the air. WHAT WAS IT???? If those two idiots out of California (Lex and Terry) can say some of the stuff they say and get away with it, what the heck did you say????? I quit listening to the "New" Z93. If I wanted to listen to that type of rock, I'd listen to 96 Rock!!! I am disappointed in the programming and am truly disappointed in the radio personalities who are currently there in the morning. Please let us know where you go. I followed your morning show from country to rock. I enjoyed both. If the programming had any sense, they'd put you back on with a raise!!!!

Don't give up Moby-You will be back on the radio in full force soon. I miss your morning show but at least I can hear you on the traffic. I listened to Z-93 since 1974 and stopped when the Greaseman came on and move to Kicks. I moved to a Christian station then went back to Z-93 when you moved there. Keep us informed where you go. What you really need is an Atlanta radio station that has a variety of music-Country-Rock for people that like it all. For people that won't settle for the "Same old Stuff. I pray someone invents a station like that. You tell it like it is-you aren't affraid to dicuss God or anything else-I like that. God Bless you Moby-you ae in my prayers Tammy

I didn't like you as a rock'n'roll deejay. I thought you were great on the country station but i hate mainstream (assembly line music) country music now. That being said, I think that it is a terrible thing that z93 has done in releasing your show, but hell, just add it to the long list of mistakes they have made for twenty years. to be perfectly honest, they have not had a good morning show since the greaseman show or before except for a couple of guys called Ross & Wilson in the early eighties. The guy before you sucked, except for a couple of things that he did, that i doubt were his own ideas. I listened because of Art & Monte. Replacing you with Mara Davis is a train wreck. "The New z93" is a desperately rearranged load of bullshit. they need to completely re-tool their format, change their format or go home and get a biscuit and flush z93 down the toilet that it is alrady in.

Dear Moby and Mary Beth, CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are "tickled pink" to hear of your wonderful news. We both miss you on the morning show as a DJ, but at least you are still a part of our morning routine on Z93 as the traffic guy. We have enjoyed you for the last 5 years on both of your morning shows (Z93 was better-better music and great sidekick). You have been in our prayers ever since you announced Johna was joining the Navy. We can only imagine how proud you and Mary Beth must be of him. Apparently you have done some really great parenting over the years to have such an uncommonly responsible, level-headed and all around great young man on your hands. The lion bite has also been a subject of several conversations with The Maker. So glad to hear you are healing well. Hope that all goes well with the adoption and that things just keep getting better for both you and Mary Beth. Just a couple of dedicated listeners, Rob and Maija Miller-Lawrenceville

Moby, I loved listening to you on 101.5, moved to Z93 when I heard you were there, and now I feel cheated because you are no longer doing the morning show. I truly miss listening to you. It is not very often you come across someone with convictions who is strong enough to voice them regardless of the "politically correct" ramifications. To have someone do it in front of hundreds of people everyday is an inspiration. Hurry up and get on the air somewhere we can hear you everyday!!! I am happy to hear you are adopting a little girl. Being a parent myself, I know there is no other feeling in this world than the love between parent and child. It will be nice if we get to hear about this little girl growing up and her accomplishments like we did with Jonah. Good Luck to you and your family!!! Syletia Bremen GA

Moby: Sure have missed you. I started listening to Z93 when co-worker told me they heard your voice. I am a country music fan thru and thru, but 80's music is good to listen to as well. Good luck with the new daughter and hope Jonah will be safe in his ventures. Hope to hear more of you soon! Kellie--Cartersville, GA

I was right! I couldn't believe my ears this morning --- yeah, Moby's back - even if it is just the traffic report (which, by the way, is the most important part of my morning attention!) - so glad all is looking up for you. Congratulations on your adoption and best of luck to Jonah. Take care!

Hi Moby, It'll be good to hear your voice again, even if it's for a few minutes at a time in the morning. I started listening to Z-93 because of you and stopped immediately after you left. Since I can't find any morning personalities that I like anymore here in Atlanta, I've actually been listening to Peach 94.9 just to hear music that I grew up with! Also, congratulations on the future new addition to your family. I'm so excited for you and MaryBeth. Prayers and thoughts are with Jonah. Thank you for keeping your fans updated!! God bless! Peace, Love, and Light, -Lynn

Please get those Yankees off z-93 and give us Moby back. It makes me sick that we don't have a Southern disc jockey. Miss you Mr. Moby. From someone that has lived here all my life.

Please let us know when you will be back on the air the only reason I started listening to Z93 was because you were on there. I have reverted back to your old station because there is no need to listen to Z93 in the morning.

Mr Moby, We have never met, but your show in the mornings and sincerity and heart felt style was the reason I listened to you every morning,,,,,whether needing to be up or not. (LOL) No matter where you go I know God has special things for you to do and people to entertain, I just pray it is in Atlanta so you can continue to be a part of our lives. Sincerely Allen Coefield www.peachphoto.com
