I was out of town due to a death in my family. One day Moby was out because of being bitten and then when I get back, Mara (who I hate to listen to) is on in the mornings and Moby is gone. What happened?
Moby, What happened?? Have you left Atlanta permanently? We love you so much and I really miss you. Di
I listened to you while living in Atlanta. Today, I just wanted to hear your voice and found you gone. I have no idea what events have lead you away, but may God bless you as you travel along your path.
MOBY, I DON'T KNOW IF WORDS COULD EVEN DISCRIBE HOW VERY MUCH YOUR ARE MISSED. RADIO JUST ISN'T THE SAME WITHOUT YOU..... PLEASE COME BACK. WE'VE ALL HEARD JONAH GROW INTO A BRAVE YOUNG MAN. I'M SURE ALL YOUR LISTENERS ARE VERY PROUD OF HIM, AND WISH THE BEST FOR HIM. HE HAS A VERY LOVING AND MOST KIND HEARTED MAN TO LOOK UP TO, I'M SURE ALL YOUR LISTENERS WOULD AGREE. Hi Moby! I miss you terribly on the morning show, ANY morning show. I have listened to you since you came to Atlanta and we've been through a lot together (even if you don't know me). Divorce, remarriage, unemployment, and now a new baby for me, she is such a blessing.Get better and come back SOON!!! Mary
Moby will you be back on the air in Atlanta ever. you have to Neal Boortz Needs some FM Comp. I Listened to you both. the two of you rule the air waves. Thanks Eric
I fast became a fan of yours about 6 years ago. I hated to hear that you were gone from Kicks and was saddened that I had not heard what led to that. I listened to 92.9 just to hear you as I did not care for the music, it was simply to hear you. Then once again, I missed what happened there for you to be gone from there. I do not have access to a radio at work and have missed the MAIN events I guess. If you could clue me in that would be great! Love ya and hope to hear you again soon! P.S. Good luck to Jonah and God Bless!
wher is moby
Moby, you will be missed! I listened to you in TX and GA and hopefully I'll find you again. Were are you going?

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD, I SERVED IN THE AIR NATIONAL GAURD(IF I KNEW THEN, WHAT I KNOW KNOW, I WOULD HAVE GONE ACTIVE) AND SPENT A YEAR ACTIVE DUTY AND GREW UP WITH A FATHER THAT RETIRED WITH 21 YEARS ACTIVE DUTY AIR FORCE. THE MILITARY IS A WONDERFUL INSTITUTION AND I RECOMMENDED IT TO ANYONE WITH THE WILL TO SUPPORT OUR FREEDOMS. MY BASIC TRAINING INSTRUCTOR WAS A DJ OM A PAST LIFE (HAHAHA) HE PLAYED LEE GREENWOOD'S SONG PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN ( I DO NOT KNOW THE EXACT TITLE) THE NIGHT WE ALL WERE TO TRANSFERE OUT. IT STILL MAKES MY HEART DO A LITTLE DANCE WHEN I HERE IT. YOUR SON IS IN THE BEST OF COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say hi. I used to listen to you when i was 12 or 13 before I moved to Tennesse
Sorry to hear you left the radio station after it took awhile for us to track you down. Big Jim's Wing Shack (in Senoia) finally put an ad on their board out front saying listen to Moby on Z93. Do you plan on going to another station?? I hope so as you really brightened my mornings (especially when I was going through a rough time last year)
I am a native Atlantan and have grown up (even in my adult years) listening to Gary McKee and you. Whatever the story of your departure from the Atlanta airwaves I appreciate all you have done over the years in your chairitable events and the manner that you staunchly support the Police, Fire, and Armed forces. Being a veteran you always made me feel appreciated. I wish you and your family all the best and hope to hear you again wherever you land. Sincerely, Carlton
Moby: My computer crashed, so I just heard. Keep your chin up! This stuff happens to all of us, and when it happened to me, I went through a sort of decompression before I "Popeyed"...I realized I am what I am, with or without a microphone. And then, I found another microphone! Get in touch if you want.
HEY MOBY,GUESS I'VE BEEN OUTTA TOUCH. I JUST RECENTLY HEARD ABOUT THE GOINGS ON IN ATLANTA RADIO.BOY HAVE THINGS CHANGED SINCE I LEFT ATLANTA FOR MICHIGAN. WE HAVE A DECENT COUNTRY STATION HERE BUT IT AIN'T GOT NO "YEAH BABY" EVERY MORNING. I HAD MANY OCCASIONS TO MEET YOU AND EACH WAS A THRILL. CAN'T TELL YOU THE # OF LAUGHS AND TEARS WE SHARED. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH THE FAMILY -- MISS THE JONAH STORIES AND HOPE THE LION BITE IS DOING WELL. I KNOW THE FANS IN ATLANTA MISS YOU BUTT IF YOU GET THE URGE COME TO MICHIGAN AND TEACH THE YANKS A THING OR TWO ABOUT COUNTRY MUSIC AND TALKING FROM THE HEART. GOD BLESS YOU AND STAND TALL LIKE ALWAYS. "YEAH BABY"
Moby, I do hope that when you decide to go back to morning shows, that you will post it on your website. I know that you have so much following here in the area that everyone will be wanting to stay in touch. My niece joined the Navy three years ago, and then unfortunately lost her mother, my sister, one year ago. If it had not been for the military brothers and sisters she had in the Navy, because she was an only child, she would not have had the tremendous amount of support she had with them. Your son made an adult decision at a time when some were probably still calling him a child. He is a child, a child of the Nation, and our "son" is going to protect us in the most grown-up way of all. Keep your chin up. When you do that, you are looking towards God. Valerie Attell

MOBY, KEEP US INFORMED AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU. WE MISS YOU IN THE MORNINGS AFTER SO MANY YEARS.
Can't believe you're leaving Atlanta after all these years. I'm a Cookeville, TN native with relatives in Crossville. You told me once at a Special Olympics State Banquet that the only reason Cookeville had running water was because it ran downhill from Crossville. I was a fan then (and before) and I'm a fan now. I don't like this new Z-93 format and it may be time for me to go back to my country roots - just have to find the right morning DJ. You're hard to top!! Best wishes to you, you're lovely wife and Jonah now and in the future. God Bless, LaVonne Whiteaker Lawrenceville, GA 30096-0294

Sorry for the way things turned out at Z93; you were great & you'll be missed. Take care & hope to hear you again soon!
Mr. Moby, I have been owner and operator of Klassic Karaoke for alot of years now, I have been following your career since the very first day you started in Atlanta! I was one of the guys that Jim Vann helped advertise our WE CARE BENEFIT for 9/11 NYPD Port Authority ! There were 10 bars involved in the karaoke event! Between your advertising and our 10 clubs, we were able to raise $7900.00 for the N.Y.P.D. PORT AUTHORITY! We delivered the money in person in November 2001. (2 months after 9/11) I have been a dj/kj 15 years running now and consider you as a class act as always, you have a great heart and are always thinking of other people! If you are interested , I have some never before seen footage of Ground Zero and the after math! We were allowed and escorted directly into the search and rescue area, as well as the church, by the commissioner himself! The pictures and videos alone, makes people like me and you realize why we must keep doing great things!
Moby, I am very very sorry to hear ( and now see ) your tragic accident. I moved from country to rock with you because it is not the same driving to work with out you. I dont always agree with you, but you either entertain me, touch my heart, or challenge me. I have laughed my head off with you, cried with you, and gotten irritated by some of your views. But, like a family member I don't want to do with out you in my day. I understand if you need time to heal, but wont you be back when you have had time to do that? What will you do next? Where can I expect to follow you to next? Please don't say there will not be any more Moby in the Morning ever again. I know I can not be the only one who feels this way. My dad, 71 years old, my brother 43, my kid 11 (and since a baby), and me listened very loyally. Please please tell me you have not gone for good. I called Z93 after you had been gone for a while and they said you were not GONE.......please don't go. I know you most likely don't anwser these emails personally (because famous people don't) but if someone will respond and let me know your not gone for good and where I can expect you next, I would really appreciate it, and pass that info along. A Fan Jena
What are you doing? I miss you in the mornings.
Sorry to hear about your leaving Z93 and your lion bite. I know that you will succeed in whatever you choose to do in the future. Thanks for all you did for your listeners!
Dear Moby: Thanks for your public letter.I wish we understood more, but we suspect Z93 treated you like they did your predescsor, Dan Moreno. We hope you have a NEWSLETTER mailing list and that we can be on it. We love you. Godspeed, Rebekah & Keith Mattox [email protected] [email protected]
Moby- I have missed you terribly since your departure from Kicks. I listened to you at Z93 and to tell you the honest truth, you didn't seem anywhere near as "at home" as you did when you were at Kicks. I'm glad that you have this webpage so that we loyal Moby-lovers can catch up and keep up with you. You have become a part of our lives over the past years and we want that to continue. Thank you for sharing your life, both the unhappy times and the joyous times with your listeners. We are very proud to know you and to be a part of your world. We are also very proud of your son and who he has become and what he has decided to do with his life. It is very hard to believe that he is actually graduating. Seems like just a short time ago he was just in middle school !! Keep in touch.....Moby. Love to you and Mary Beth. Chris
Dear Mr. Moby. I am very saddened to hear that you are no longer on radio here in Atlanta. Some background for a moment. I grew up in Houston listening to you on 97ROCK and 101KLOL. Then you moved and I lost track. Then I move out here for a job and who do I find, but the best dj in the USA. When KICKS let you go for whatever reason, I was dumbfounded. Then I found you on Z93 and started listening to you over there. The next thing I know, you're gone from there too. I don't know why they did that because you certainly weren't there long. Anyway, I no longer listen to the KICKS morning show or the Z93 morning show, as they both suck now. That leaves me with B98.5 and/or Eagle1067. Anyway, I do hope that you find work in radio elsewhere and kick some serious ass doing it. Who knows, maybe I'll end up where you do again. I never got to meet you personally, but I feel like I've known you all my life since I've been listening to you for 20+ years. God speed to you and your family. Please let your fans know what your plans are, if you are going elsewhere or retiring. God Bless You. Sincerely Eric Isaacson Please reply to this if you can.
Moby, My how I miss you in the morning! I have yet to find anything worth setting my car radio to. I still listen to Kicks every once and a while, but miss you , Jim, and Deborah. Keep us posted and maybe you should stick to petting Harley Hogs!
Alright, what happened to the morning show? I am the only person in Atlanta that does not know what happened?
We hope your bite is getting better. We miss hearing you in the morning again soon.
I will miss you, Moby! I've been listening since you came to Atlanta!

Moby, I have listened to you since I came to Atlanta in 1992. I have been shocked by you, as well as laughed with and at you. You have made me cry and smile. I have had the pleasure of meeting you at several events. I was suprised and heartbroken when you left KICKS. I switched to Z93 when you went there however, I could not stay with the music. Since I could not handle the music at Z93, did not like the new people on Kicks, and never could stand Rubbarb I just started listening to my CD player. I don't know where you will turn up next, but I know that you will land on your feet. Good luck to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Juanita Young
Please oh please tell me that you are coming back to radio somewhere!!!!! I started listing to you in Houston and then you left. You will not know how happy I was to hear you on the radio in Altanta when I moved here. You are so real about what you say and believe that for people like me its good to know that the good ol' boy idea is still here. My husband came home last night to share with me about your accident and let me read your article about being off the air and I cried. Please try to let your fans know where you go and if we can still hear you. God Bless and take care. Shelia
Moby, I live in a little town named Shepherdsville just south of Louisville. I am retired now but i worked in a factory in Louisville and used to listen to Moby in the morning on the way to work. I really enjoyed your show and missed hearing you when you disappeared. I don't know what the djs are playing now but most of it sure isn't country. Or maybe i'm just getting old and hard to change but i just don't like most of it. Anyway i just wanted to let you know that you had a large following in this area. Thanks....Gil
Moby: Just checked into your website. We were talking at work this morning wondering why you were not on Z93 any longer. I really didn't listen that much to Z93, even though I know you started off in Rock n' Roll, it just wasn't the same as hearing you as I did everyday on Kicks. Even though I used to listen to Rock n' Roll, when you could understand it, boy and then our parents thought things were crazy! I love listening to you every morning on my way to work when you were on KICKS, it's just not the same. We miss your true heart and soul in what you were doing and stand for. I loved your compassion for all. You really touched my heart with your love for your little boy, it's like we've been there while he has grown up. I truly love the way you love him. I have a 7 year old and he is the light of my life and his Daddy's too. I was so happy to hear when you found love in your life again, because I to had been down that road of sadness and sorrow of a failed marriage. Now I also have a happy family. Which I give all thanks and honor to God above for my happy life now. I'm really respect your feeling for our Troops, Law Enforcement, & Emergency Crews. They really go unthanked to much. Back in the Summer I met your friend Cindy Lou Harrington at a Saturday afternoon gathering of a friend of mine. She was very nice and spoke highly of you. Well, I guess this message is long enough. Oh yeah, I seen the photos of the Lion bite. Man, I'm so glad your o.k., that I'm sure was a scary moment. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Feel free at anytime to e-mail back. Love & Prayers, Martin, Barbara & Nicholas The Petrosky Family
Moby, I sure will miss not hearing you every day. Are you going to keep this website so that your friends can keep in touch with you? I'd like to know where you go and if it's possible listen to you via the web.
Moby, I'm a long time listener and will miss your humor, your heart and your funny perspective on life's situations. But, I know these qualities are still with you and will carry you through to the next great chapter in your life. I'm just more than a little sad that I will not likely be able to listen in as that chapter is read aloud. All the best, Faye
Thank you, thank you, thank you Mr. Moby! we have CERTAINLY enjoyed you over the past decade on Atlanta radio. We'll miss the "Yeah Baby", and the Pledge of Allegiance too, every morning. Atlanta radio will never be the same. We considered (still do!) ourselves part of the Moby family, and consider you part of ours. Hope to hear you again on Atlanta airwaves SOON!!! Or at least see you around town every now and again.
Hey Moby, we loved your morning show. Do you think you will be back on another station or is this it?
Very Nice!!
Good morning Mr. Moby ! I just can't believe you're not on some radio station somewhere here in Atlanta. I listened to you for years on Kicks and even moved to Z93 with you... even though I wasn't crazy bout that breakfast beatles!! ughhh Please continue to be in the public ! I sincerely miss your voice in the mornings. Noone seems to fill those shoes. The humanity and sincerity that you always expressed touched my heart many times. Please keep the web site going as I'm sure there are lots more people other than myself who like to hear what you're up to next. God be with you Moby as you choose the next path in your life. And may his many blessings come your way. God bless you and your family and may we see you soon, better yet... may we HEAR you soon! Beth
Well, I am now a morning show nomad! I'm continually switching stations and haven't found a home. I sometimes listen to Z93 and sometimes to Kicks and even sometimes to Star 94 - see what Atlanta radio has done to me by not having you on the air!? I may try Randy & Spiff on Cool 105.7 on Monday but I'd rather be listening to you! I hope you are feeling much better from your animal bite! What a awful experience! Is all going well with that? Get well soon. Thank you for 11 + years of great morning drives. I'll keep checking your website until you find another radio home and if you move out of state - thank God for computers! We love you and will miss you! Sheryl Bennett
Thanks for making the mornings a little better here in Atlanta. Most of all thanks for your unswerving dedication and support of our military and local police & firefighters. Since you're departure from the airwaves, it's back to cassettes for me. best of luck in whatever city you decide to land. M.B. Thackston MSgt USMC Retired

Moby, We'll I'm in DT's again. Miss you so much. Trying to find another station to listen to. WKHX and Z93 are both off my radio for good. Wishing you well in your next venture. Sending prayers your way for you, Mary Beth and Jonah. Your forever fan, Kathy Coursey-Boes
Moby, You have been and will continue to be a part of the family of my heart for many years. I wish you much happiness in whatever is next for you. I started listening to country because of you, but I followed you to Z93. Both stations have been replaced on my dial, but noone will ever replace you. Suzi Blosser
Moby, I am sorry that I am not going to have you in the car with my moring 32 mile ride that takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I am going to miss you and please let us know where you are going and what you will be doing. I moved to Atlanta four years ago and I listened to you on KIX and then when you left I followed you to Z93 and only listened to them in the morning since country is my first choice in music. You will be MISSED!!!!!! Thanks for a great ride for four years. Cindy Brown
Moby, We miss you . Bless you in your new venture Jerry M. Lewis
Moby, it is me again the lady with the flags on her nails. I just want to tell you how missed you are by this GA Peach. Is there still a way to send an email direct to you? Looking forward to telling you my story so your Atlanta story won't be alone.
